This video is a lifesaver. I keep following tutorials about how to do specific things but the nodes aren't explained in any way, they just say "oh you use this node and then this node and plug this here" but no one explains the WHY.
This will allow me to do my own stuff, hopefully with less tutorials.

I think I'm finally to the point where most of these explanations aren't helpful to me (which is good, self progress) but I genuinely wish I had this video 4 months ago. Still learned some things from this even now. Really useful!

Thank you so much. I have purchased multiple blueprint courses and all failed to really teach. It was all just "copy exactly what I'm doing and I wont tell you anything that's going on so that when you try to change it you break it and have no clue why". You actually explained everything and just off of this very basic info I can make basic games and functionality.

INVALUEABLE video! I'm making a Smash TV clone and I wanted it to shoot when you moved the R stick without having to press a button. Well the polling rate of the R stick was causing it to go haywire and shoot forever and glitchy. Do Once was exactly what I needed to filter the constant feed of stick coordinates going to the fire function.

Great video! I know the time drags out a little, but I wouldn't mind at all if the video was another 15 minutes in length and you slowed down quite a bit when explaining everything. Even exaggerate right-clicking and finding the node could be slower. You gotta remember that you already have all of this info memorized, we the audience have absolutely no idea what we're doing.

    THIS
    IS
    PEAK UNREAL EDUCATIONAL CONTENT.
    EDIT:
What are some in-game examples that would require all the other Boolean logic? (e.g. AND Boolean, OR Boolean, NOT Boolean, etc.)
    EDIT 2:
Okay, so it's great that you're explaining a majority of these nodes and going through the logic, but I think it would also help newer learners (like myself, especially when it comes to coding) if you have a demonstrable, relevant in-game example. Like, maybe referring to a single-player action game, or an adventure game, or a racing game, etc. for when showcasing logic of these BPs and how it would be implemented in the example of choice's genre. Of course, I understand that's more work for something that's free, but it's just something I wanted to mention.
Aside from that, these are so very helpful for me and I'm very grateful that you're putting these out.
One minor gripe that's not related to the subject matter, it's very hard to distinguish what you're saying at times because of the microphone. Despite that, again, everything else is very helpful and great for something that's free.

Alright i gotta ask cause i dont think nobody is gonna ask this. But after you insert any object into the game play area. Basically the area the third person gameplay takes place in. And then you hit play to run around and test the color changing material. @ 1:05 . How come your BP Example sphere that turns red, did not disappear and become hidden? Specifically after you exit play mode. This is a bug i have been working around with a loophole i know, and i know it has nothing to do with the world partition settings cause i have yet to touch it. please help.

I think the information in the video is good for beginners, but the guy in the video should use a cleaner method to position the nodes on the graph.
For him, who is already familiar with it, having two nodes next to each other and adding another completely unrelated one while explaining might be common.
However, for a beginner, it's a visual chaos that only confuses them and makes them pause the video more often than usual.
