So God is the best of all Planner. Unlike the Bible which in so many languages and not in its Original language which is Aramaic, lots of it is lost in translation.

@@hawkingdawking4572 this is a common mythology believed by Iranians. Obviously the opposite is true. Iran's Shah had a 20 billion dollar defense deal with U.S. and UK weapon manufacturers which was the biggest arms deal adjusted to inflation until the Saudi deal with U.S. in 2019. The deal was signed just before the revolution, and it had to be annulled because of it. Many defense industry firms in U.S. and UK went bankrupt because of it and had to do mergers to stay alive. It's because of this that you have two names in most U.S. defense companies.

So Iranians believe that BBC helped Khomeini to get to power?? The whole world knows that Iranians are at war with the West. BBC is in the West! Even if Iran gets a nuke, they will become overly excited and try to tie it to the back of the nearest suicide bomber just hours after receiving it. And you know exactly where they are going to drop him off. Iran - The country of creepy old men with beards who believe for 2 blankets and 2 goats they can and do purchase and "marry" 8 year old girls. Why not? Mohammed in his 50's took a "bride" 6 years old named Ashi. And why do I have the feeling the young little girls have no say in the transaction? You'd think the world (especially the women) would be going nuts over that Muslim tradition for the last 1,200 years. Maybe instead of complaining I should just convert to Islam. lol. You see that a lot in Islam countries that are underdeveloped as a whole, like Iran. When developed like Saudi Arabië they tend to be already much better.
Simply said when people prosper and have a decent life, their government do not go to war as much, they can focus on keeping things well. Only when they fail economically they tend to focus on going to war to distract from their failures

As an iranian I think that the reasons mentioned were the ones claimed by the Iran's government as well. First contemporary politicians have nothing to do with Iran's glorious ancient times and even want to distort historical facts and destroy monuments. Second defending Iran by going out of borders proved to be a dangerous act jeoperdizing Iran's territory let alone protecting it. I think the most salient reason is just influencing the whole area to make an ideological bond for religion even at the expense of people' lives and their economical suffering....the most crucial objective for iran's supreme leader is loyalty to Islam

Present day Iranian state is totally different from the once mighty Persian empire. Persia was a Zoroastrian Empire. It has almost gone extinct except for a a few pockets of run away communities spread across the world today. The present day Iran is an Islamic conquered state. Calling it the Persian empire is equivalent to calling the present day Egypt as the continuum of the former Egyptian civilization. Sure people from the former empires have been assimilated in to the new Islamic states. But the culture has been almost thoroughly destroyed. Some regional aspects such as food etc, may have survived as it is not in conflict with the practices of Islam.

It was done in a completely arbitrary manner, setting the new nation up for conflict that has been perpetual, and that has dragged in other nations in the region both as co- religionists and as fellow residents seeing an unfair process go forward supported by the major Western powers.
I'm not opposed to a nation of Israel -- just to the manner in which it was forced on the residents of the area. "We used to be a great nation here" is no more excuse than it is for Iran's desire to recreate a modern Persian Empire.

If we go back to history the Mideast witnessed the longest conflict in human history between the Roman ( later Christian Roam ) and The Persian Empire to control the Mideast , after the berth of Christianity conflict between Jews and Christian’s emerged , the Jews prosecuted the Christian as a result the Christians developed the doctrine of victimhood which shaped Christianity and as a result Christians fought back against there oppressors the Jews and no one was able to stop the conflict and bloodshed between Jews & Christians until Islam came and successfully stopped the Jewish Christian conflict in the Mideast for the first time in history , and stopped Jewish Terrorism and violence until the west colonialized the Mideast and supported a political form of Judaism called Zionism which was born in Europe as a result Ashkenazi Jews from Europe wanted to establish a Jewish state in Palestine and they used terrorism this is how Terrorisim started in the modern Mideast , it wasn’t Mideast Jews who started Terrorsiim in the Mideast but Ashkenazi Jews who came from Europe and supported by the corrupt political elites. And the Ashkenazi recruited Christian Zionist to commit Terrorism in the Mideast and thus Terrorsiim was spreed again , historically Islam stopped the Roam Persian conflict and the Jewish Christian conflict and both Mideast Jewish sources praised Muslims and Mideast Christian sources viewed Muslims as hero’s who ended conflict in the Mideast and restored stability , then you had the pagan Mogul invasion and they empowered a small minority called the 12 Shiites they were the once who are responsible of 99% of the Shiite violence generally and especially against Sunni before the mogul invasion they were a peaceful minority , thus the Mogul invasion is far more dangerous then the Crusaders because it left it impact to this day , both the Mogul and western colonialism of the Mideast are far more dangerous then the Crusaders because their legacy continues to this day for example the French introduced the policy of minorities against the majority to help them colonials the Mideast and they recruited 3 groups Ashkenazi Jews from Europe and Maronite in Lebanon and Alwaites in Syria ( the French coined the name Alwaites ) this 3 groups not only started Terrorsiim and sectarian violence but are responsible for most of the sectarian killings and ethnic cleansing in the Mideast while France was the original sponsor , the sponsorship has changed from the French to the British to the US in case of Political Judaism in Palestine , in Syria Political Alwaitsim was sponsored and created by France but now they are under the sponsorship of Russia and previously the Soviet , political Maronite Christianity in Lebanon on the other hands remains to this day under French sponsorship politicly and financially , no church in the Mideast was involved in Terrorism except the Maronite Church , in fact they are the only religious institution in the Mideast to be involved in Terrorism with exception of Shiite religious institutions who later also adopted Terrorism .

As an Australian from Tasmania, I'm curious about why our country is entangled in West-East rivalries and how that affects us. Why should we align with the West instead of adopting a neutral stance like other significant nations such as India, South Africa, Nigeria, and Brazil? I just don't understand what "the West" signifies and what its primary objective is. Is it to dismantle the world, or are there other motives at play? It's not just the US and UK behaving as if they're the best and most innocent, but they seem to be attempting to divert attention from their own actions by painting other countries in a negative light, even when they themselves are far from blameless. Their hypocrisy needs to be exposed, and they should be held accountable for their actions towards the world and humanity. I'm aware that the BBC is often seen as a mouthpiece for Western interests, frequently offering biased and unfavorable portrayals of the East. I feel deeply saddened for the people living in the Middle East. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone, whether they are from Israel, Palestine, Iran, or any other Middle Eastern nation, who is suffering and dying due to conflicts influenced by the West. These conflicts are not solely about religious differences nor iran but often arise from the mistakes made by Western particularly England, which now tries to shift blame onto other countries instead of taking responsibility. It's a profoundly inhumane situation. Rip middle east 😭🙏🌏.

When reflecting on Iran's historical trajectory, two primary factors stand out as pivotal in shaping its current state.
These reasons can be attributed either to deliberate actions or miscalculations of the west, making it challenging to ascertain definitively.
    1) Initially, the installment of Mohammad Reza Shah to power through a US/British-engineered coup d'état marks a significant turning point.
    2) Subsequently, covert support for Ayatollah Khomeini and the subsequent betrayal of Mohammad Reza Shah, who was a faithful ally of the West and Israel in the region, further exacerbated Iran's path.

A reigning monarch as the person of the highest possible position in the land does not need yo stage a coup as it serves no purpose. What happened in 1953 was first a coup by Mossadegh and then a counter coup by the people, including the private sectors. Bazarires, loyal military, and even the mullahs. The rewriting of the history of modern lran has become the order of the heavily biased liberal leftist western media.

You do realise western civilization would not have thrived or even developed from the dark ages if not for the golden age of islam, literally just before the italian renaissance.
This is well documented in mathematics, literature and history (the british museum and natural history museum in London does display some of this information).
Heck many English words are arabic (one example being algebra).
If the Mongolian invasion was not so devastating the world today would be very different. But every nation rises and falls. The middle east today is a mess due to involvement of western influences (The US and now gone British empire) with proxy wars, installing political figures and leaders and fighting for natural resources.
We can't be so ignorant to why the middle east is as it is today without doing a bit of research.

Since the fall of the Ottomans, the conflicts throughout the Middle East can be mostly described as competing visions for the future of the region and attempts to find a stable set of nations to fill the power vacuum. Gradual progress has been made to settle the issues.
There is currently a good situation between the westerners/Israelis and the major Arab powers. The Arabs have the whole Arabian Peninsula and the rights to its oil wealth, with clear and stable borders since the formation of Jordan, and the westerners have steadily withdrawn influence from the gulf region in favor of friendly Arab states filling the vacuum (as long as no hostile forces like ISIS/Al-Qaeda rise there, we don’t want to interfere again). When Sinai was returned to Egypt, that should have established a stable border there as well, and we should hope that the peace with Egypt persists.
In the situation of Iran, they would naturally be a regional ally, but it is very clear that the previous generations of western leaders made terrible mistakes when it comes to diplomacy with Iran. We now need to avoid giving any reason for Iranians to continue to see us as the enemy. Eventually, Iranians will peacefully reform into a nation we can cooperate and coexist with. The Iranians should not have any dispute with the west since we’re withdrawing from the gulf and we aren’t competing for influence in Central Asia. The Iranians have some potential disputes with Russia and Turkey over the future of Azerbaijan and the former-soviet states of Central Asia. Iran should be trying to ally with the West in order to gain support in these areas (which should be settled peacefully).
All of our interests, Westerners, Arabs, Iranians, Russians, should be united against the shared goals to stop neo-ottomans, stop fascist Baathism, and stop religious extremism. The Middle East can be a prosperous place of coexistence.
