As a Warden Main, I appreciate the respect Warden got Every combo Warden uses will inevitably lead to an unblockable or a fake out to catch your opponent off guard I’ve been playing Warden since I got the game in the first place, and he is one of the absolute best duelists in the entire game He ain’t great in 4v4 but he still gets the job done Plus, I have 34 reps on Warden, I know how to optimally gank and I know a thing or two about anti ganking Overall though, I agree that Warden’s specialty is duels, and even other really good duels heroes would struggle against a good Warden, so many mix ups, so many options to open up enemy defenses, he is just an absolute KING in 1v1
I’m just curious why you’d put warden over warmonger. They have almost identical kits but warmonger has the absurd dodge heavy that I-frames through pretty much everything and massive hit boxes which, with her feats, make anti-gank insanely strong. The only thing she really gives up is the ability to combo out of the bash light.
I love picking kensei for 1v1s, as he is wholly underated and underused ... But the Samurai are loaded with better 1v1 characters. Notably Kyoshin, Aramusha and arguably the BEST duals character in the game: Shinobi
@@redgrizzlybur7810musha is probably one of the worst hero’s in the game with nobu. Idk how you’re losing to that hero. Any first attack is going to be fainted into a light and just guard break a lot. Shino has unreactable mix up that’s 400ms and you have to make reads. It’s just different

I’ve been saying he needs a buff for years. Maybe a bash off neutral instead of heavy bash soft faints. And speed up his 500ms lights. Very slow character with limited kit. His all guard doesn’t work as good as valks which is his twin basically in that regard and she’s a monster in 1s. I’d say musha is a B tier hero maybe even C at above diamond.
Everyone always forgets about prior’s most powerful ability: he can cancel his combo finishers into his all guard. This makes it so dodge attacks and dodge bashes against him don’t do anything if you dodge any of his finishers because he can immediately cancel almost any whiffed attack directly into his counter. This also makes him incredibly hard to actually punish in the gank. It’s also how you end up with his infinite, you can cancel any finisher directly into his unblockable heavy which itself is a chain starter.
I think for duels it should be Warmonger, Valk, either Ara or orochi, tiandi, then afeera (pirate is also good but I feel like afeera can do more damage). For 4v4 it’s black prior or warmonger, this one is tough for me when it comes Vikings so I’ll put berserker, then kyoshin, jj, then medjay or Afeera.
Okay I agree but zerk is definitely way better than valk in 1v1, he’s arguably top 3 duelists in the game especially after the assassin buff. Everyone has their opinions and I agree with everything you said p much except that valk take. Just my opinion.
I know it's an old video but it showed up when I was searching for stuff from the game. I just want to add some commentary to the picks Zenith chose just because I believe in being informed rather than being correct: Warden: Specifically wanted to comment on 2 things, the first being last frame feinting his bash into GB. This is actually a trap that will build bad muscle memory not just for Warden but for bashes in the future. The benefit to being able to delay it is to catch incorrect dodge times by letting it go. If you're going to feint instead of commit to the level 3 bash then just empty feint and react to what the opponent does if anything. The other thing is Warden in 4's. He's actually quite good in 4's with his kit (even more so after the recent changes.) People just don't know how to approach Warden in 4's which is fair given the game really doesn't teach you how 4's are actually played even to this day. But yeah, his feats are often what keeps him from being picked more often. Not that they are bad, but that other characters have stronger ones and offer more in their kit. Similar situation to PK in 4's actually. But both have 2 big kit flaws that also keep them down from ideal picks. Zerker/Highlander: Zerk is crazy strong in 4's actually. The amount of HP he has plus damage he does he can do a lot of trades very often and pretty much whenever he wants. This wouldn't be as problematic if it weren't for how safe he is. Primarily comes from being able to recovery cancel both whiffs and dodge attacks constantly. Combined with how strong external dodges are it makes him really hard to touch/peel/punish. Highlander post rework (so after this video) still is relatively poor in duels and 4's. However the biggest benefit he got was to his in chain offense since it's effectively an unreactable vortex that can net as high as 26 damage each time. Prior to the rework he didn't really have this and you had to fight the kit to pull anything decent out of him. Zenith is correct in that to reap benefits from this character you need to know what you're doing. But I would also add that he's a very input heavy character, so if you worry about carpal tunnel maybe don't play HL lol. Kensei: I would not say he's looked down on but rather left behind. He has a lot of good aspects in his kit particularly for 4's. The main problem really just is power creep. He's still more than good to take in 4's though. As for duels he does have one of the more consistent offense tools of the pommel. But there are flaws in his game plan and unlike Lawbringer he probably should've gotten recyclable offense to fix said flaws. Tiandi: This dude has very strong stalling capabilities with how his kit works and his feats work. His offense has some struggles in 4's because of range issues and due to his best feats being selfish he's not picked up competitively even during the Stalling meta we exist in. As other heros can stall well but also offer more. As far as duels go he does have really good offense/defense and mix potential. Definitely can't go wrong with him. Afeera: A lot of people understand how good her mixes are but I want to point out that her safety and peel potential/self peel capability are what really makes her insanely strong at the momet. Also her grapple feats both revenge lock and reset hitstun. Basically her kit is a complete package and cements her as one of the top characters in the game period. Black Prior: Oathbreaker gets a ton of attention but in the grand scheme of things Umbral shelter is far far stronger. You get to ignore any damage at a team wide scale for a solid amount of time. It's a direct counter to things like fury flask and honestly is almost a team fight win condition handed out for free. Jorm: Unfortunately I will have to step in here and say that Jorm's potential in 4's is pretty stunted. In theory he has a lot of stall potential with his unique feats. However he lacks the defense to really capitalize on that playstyle. Unlike Tiandi he's a bit more offensive, but the problem with Jorm's offense is two fold. The first being he doesn't have good hitboxes. Meaning external dodges are quite good at avoiding anything he does. Second being his offense is entirely reliant on bashes to be able to stall and do good damage. Slam is unfortunately too easy to peel and you can't land bashes constantly because of revenge gain. So Jorm basically contributes nothing to a team and doesn't have the ability to aggress. Hitokiri: Unironically she executes (pun very much intended) on the gameplan Jorm struggles to do. In that she's a better tank with a good mix that can actually do what she wants to do. Her tracking on her fully charged heavies always catch people off too meaning she's pretty decent in a team fight. The only downside I'd give her is the need to learn to last frame feint her kick if you plan on dueling. Her feats can be a bit selfish but since she contributes a fair bit elsewhere it's not as bad. Cannot comment on Ocelotol since I had stopped playing around his time of release. Hopefully this comment helped some people learn some things about the heros mentioned here.
Warden? F**ckin really? I would get warmonger because she’s just better… and has the exact same bash…. So idk guess I’m just crazy for thinking more tools is better or something.
Fr. And warmonger has a wider base moveset, too. Also, looking at this guy's reps, he hasn't really had enough experience to give the most accurate information. Hell, PK is probably a better duelist than Warden. She may not have a bash, but her ability to soft Feint almost anything makes it to where you'll almost always have frame advantage if you use her right. Combo that with controlling distance, and you shouldn't have any issues fighting any hero. But advanced stuff like that takes a while to learn, so choosing someone with a good base moveset rather than a high skill ceiling is probably best for most players.
Cent is just hella easy to turtle. He doesn't have good openers, and the ones he does have are easy to punish, and if he manages to start a combo, they're low damage, and only require a 50/50 to end it entirely.

Warden got some love this last season which wasn't expected, but I'd like to see a feat and perk rework for him since they're mediocre. For example, Raider is a B tier toon, but I have some great feats like Tireless, Fury and Fire Flask which makes up for it. I also wish Warden had crushing counter from the side and not just the top. Hitokiri's Senbonzakura is simply OP. Seriously, it must have been a For Honor dev's sick idea of a joke for trolling other players and making them rage quit. Highlander is my next favorite toon after Warden, and is well-balanced despite his slow speed. His feats are okay, and he's good at mix ups. Lawbringer is fun if you're good at parrying attacks because he has some great crushing counters. I don't know how I feel about Berserker yet since I haven't played him enough. But it seems like it could be a powerful solo or Dominion player at higher levels. I've been leveling Raider recently as I like a challenge. Again, he's a B Tier hero and his heavy attacks are on the slow side but his feats make up for those weaknesses. Haven't played Kensei yet, but I think it'd be a monster in duels because of their quick attacks, speed and evasion. Tiandi is simply sick in the right hands.
Top hero if u consider there true potential…means missing no parry’s and using tools and kit to the fullest….glad(that we have now) Valk(banned from tournaments should tell u a lot) Nobu(she needs one heavy to take half your health not including her regular attacks to add on to bleed damage) shaolin (no explanation needed) And ocelot (when they changed the stamina to what it is now instead of leaving how it was so it would punish the spammers instead his infinite plus armor was stronger than ppl expected )
Knights Agree with Warden for Duel Dominion- Updated Conqueror with his mix ups and defense against gang attacks. Also has an unblockable feat that can come to good use when you’re being gang attacked. Vikings Agree with Berserker for duel Dominion- Warlord with his defense and ability to harass opponents with relentless attacks and power through incoming light attacks Samurai Kensei for duel Dominion- Kyoshin has it all. Speed, defense and insane mix ups Wu Lin Tiandi for duel. Agile and easy to learn Dominion- Jiang Jun. This guy is a powerhouse and with good agility, stamina regeneration in fight and zone attacks to damage gang attacks Outlanders Pirate- Duel. Keeps you guessing with strong offense mixups and defense Ocelotl- The best dominion character in the faction. The resurrection feat is awesome. Can save teams at brink of defeat by morphing anywhere. Also has good mix ups and decent defense
personally I would put gladiator as the best duelist from the knight faction. You can access your skewer mix-up every 5 seconds and it has like a 90% chance to guarantee you dmg. Also the skewer doing 39 dmg overall is just broken. O also I main gladiator and his feint to toe stab will land 90% of the time and if you land three (pretty easy to do) that's 30 dmg, and you don't even have to stop there you can keep going and just toe stab mix em until they die or rage quit
As someone who's mastered every character in the game, here's my list. For 1v1s: Warden Berzerker Orochi Nuxia Afeera For 4v4s: Black Prior Varangian Guard Kyoshin Shaolin Medjay (See a theme here?) But I can give my explanations in the replies.
Lawbringer, conquerer my mains only by breacher at defense, by attack shugoki, peacekeeper, variantguard or warden, sometimes i playing different heroes in different areas for learning their moves 😊
I know you mentioned in the video that you don’t like playing Warden in Dominion matches, which is understandable. From my experience, Warden doesn’t provide much to the table when getting ganked by multiple people. But I still usually use Warden in Dominion since she has feats that make Dominion easier, such as, Conquerer and Inspire to get an edge during those matches and support your teammates. 1:35
@NotZenith I’ve been trying Tiandi for the last couple of weeks and have a terrible record. No matter how much I try with him, I just suck. What would you suggest I main as? I’m looking for a low skill floor hero who can still stand a chance without having to do mixups or high skill etc. stuff. (It doesn’t matter what class nor strength. Just someone who can hold their own without needing much learning) anyone can reply but, please do help me.
For me is gladiator jomungandr kyoshin(I literally have game I never die and get almost 20kills) shaoling if yk how to use him and I don’t have the outlanders so
@@NotZenith problem I run into as a Tiandi main is his Kick and side dodges get stopped by people outside of the fight ganking. His palm strike never gets a good punish because he can get knocked out of it by an outside attack. It's rough sometimes but JJ having he ability to hit a lot of people around him sometimes can stop people from trying to interrupt him, especially the pesky feint spammers
For me it's Centurion, Highlander, Shugoki and Tiandi -- Second place in each goes to Gladiator, Warlord, Kensei and nothing for the Chinese empire because i only ever tried Tiandi on their group of heroes
I think that the centurion can sometimes be better than warden, because when you his them with a punch or kick, a lot of people tend to panic and do big mistakes.

Overall rep 700(ish) here, in my opinion and from partaking in the competitive scene; Duels: BP / Shaman / Orochi / Nuxia / Pirate Teamfights: Warmonger / Raider / Hito / Shaolin / Medjay
@angelaeasthom6549 orochi has the most versatile offence and defence out of the samurai and his mixup potential is almost limitless. His deflects break hyperarmour so is a hard counter against character's that can abuse it, he can recovery cancel any attack for easy chain offence pressure, has a very easy to access high damage unblockable, overall high damage moveset with a nasty oos punish and pressure. Just overall an incredibly versatile character, and I'm of the opinion that recovery cancels are terrible for the game unless in a specific part of a movement, not the whole kit as its such an easy way to keep up offence without much thought into how to actually position and play.

Warden is probably the only one anywhere near correct 1v1 he is bp in 4v4 tiandi is correct.(breserker is the best teamfight viking but you ruined it picking highlander). Kights-warden(1v1) Bp(4v4 tied best 4v4) Viking- shaman(1v1) brez/valk(4v4 Sam- shinobi(1v1) shugo(4v4) Wu lin- tiandi(1v1 best duelist in game) shaolin(4v4) Outlanders-afrea(1v1) medjay(4v4 tied best 4v4)
I'm at least 150 reps plus on console plus the amount of reps you see on this account. Not to mention the first 3 years of this game's release I only played duels so I didn't get much xp. This was before they made the xp balance change.
Honestly for me my picks would go (for duels) (Centurion, just cause of his stamina pressure and bash/unblockable mixups.) (Valkyrie, because of her sweep, all guard bash, and dodge catchers) (Orochi, because of the dodge mixups undodgable/bash) (Tiandi is definitly a good pick so I dont disagree) (Then either pirate or afeera fir their undodgeable/Unblockable mixups) Solid choices overall though!
If someone attacks you while you have it you won't be interrupted allowing you to power through the attack and get damage in you flash blue when this happens.
As someone who used to play Kensei but ditched it due to complex mix ups (my ass is not pressing all them buttons) he is really strong. Especially in low level, you see a lot of people pick him and for good reason
I can see why you would say that because Warmonger provides bleed and consistent combos. Although they are two different characters and they bring different things to the table. Believe it or not I like Warden as a support role and her charge is insane for getting close to your opponent. Warmonger doesn’t have an attack that provides the distance that warden provides.
Warmonger is better overall, and BP is great defensively, and both are def better in 4s, but wardens shoulderbash is just one of the best offensive tools in the game
As a warmonger main I think warden is the best knight for duels, BP best in 4’s, and warmonger is the most versatile, being really good in both but not quite better than either in their respective fields.

For duels: Knights is Warden, Cent being a close second. Vikings being Berserker, he has unreactable mix-ups if you do them correctly, also he has an unlock tech that can't be punished. Samurai being Shinobi, a good Shinobi cannot be punished. Wu Lin easily being Tiandi, nothing more to say, Shaolin is a far second. Outlanders being Afeera, Afeera and Medjay are the only good duelists in Outlanders tbh. For Dominion: Knights being Black Prior, because of his flip and that's literally it. Vikings still being Berserker, great for team fight scenarios while still having the ability to stall. Samurai being Shinobi or Nobushi, Shinobi has good ganks but so does Nobushi, main thing seperating them is the fact that Shinobi is more of the dueling one whereas Nobushi is the team fight one, both are great but in general Shinobi would be the better pick for most as Nobushi has a specific playstyle. Wu Lin is Zhanhu, zone attack is great for team fights and that's it, having superior dodges is just a bonus, Shaolin still stands strong as a close second though. Outlanders is still Afeera, unreactable mix-ups, great for ganks, not much I can say. For anyone who may disagree, I am a competitive player myself and these are MY opinions, doesn't mean their overall correct. Another thing to point out is that I do consider in all the techs each one of the heroes may be able to do and that's the only reason why Berserker is on both, if not for techs he wouldn't be best for duels.

Berserker isn’t the best Viking for duels, she’s actually only B tier at a high level. As someone who plays on this level it’s the reason I stopped maining her. Not a single unreactable mix in her kit and one of the easiest UB to react to.
@@MibuInMalibu Tier 3 buffered lights are unreactable for all console players, same as Shamans bleed light speed except with hyper armor. Dodge attack tech cancels out everything, doesn't matter if you undodgable, GB, light, heavy, bash, you can't punish it. You also can't parry it because the Zerk is too far away to be parried. Valk has an unreactable bash but there are techs that just completely counter it, even zone on all guard into dodge counters it. Other than that, Zerk has arguably the best deflect in the game, if not at least the better deflect in terms of Vikings. You could argue Shaman to be a better Duelist then Zerk but from my stand point Zerk will still be the better Duelist, my opinion of Zerk derives from that of my friend Vismerence who has consistently been at least 3rd grandmaster on PC before his business trip. However regardless, I don't how any more arguments for why Zerk is better, nonetheless I respect anyone's opinion on why other Vikings like Shaman or Valk are better, but based on my experience and time in the competitive scene in FH, Zerk is better.
Comp players are a fraction of the player base and would require a completely different tier list based on different elements of each hero in that context. Yes some things can be for both the casual and comp players but most considerations on what is "good" is very different between the two types of players.

Tiandi: This dude has very strong stalling capabilities with how his kit works and his feats work. His offense has some struggles in 4's because of range issues and due to his best feats being selfish he's not picked up competitively even during the Stalling meta we exist in. As other heros can stall well but also offer more. As far as duels go he does have really good offense/defense and mix potential. Definitely can't go wrong with him.
Afeera: A lot of people understand how good her mixes are but I want to point out that her safety and peel potential/self peel capability are what really makes her insanely strong at the momet. Also her grapple feats both revenge lock and reset hitstun. Basically her kit is a complete package and cements her as one of the top characters in the game period.
Black Prior: Oathbreaker gets a ton of attention but in the grand scheme of things Umbral shelter is far far stronger. You get to ignore any damage at a team wide scale for a solid amount of time. It's a direct counter to things like fury flask and honestly is almost a team fight win condition handed out for free.
Jorm: Unfortunately I will have to step in here and say that Jorm's potential in 4's is pretty stunted. In theory he has a lot of stall potential with his unique feats. However he lacks the defense to really capitalize on that playstyle. Unlike Tiandi he's a bit more offensive, but the problem with Jorm's offense is two fold. The first being he doesn't have good hitboxes. Meaning external dodges are quite good at avoiding anything he does. Second being his offense is entirely reliant on bashes to be able to stall and do good damage. Slam is unfortunately too easy to peel and you can't land bashes constantly because of revenge gain. So Jorm basically contributes nothing to a team and doesn't have the ability to aggress.
Hitokiri: Unironically she executes (pun very much intended) on the gameplan Jorm struggles to do. In that she's a better tank with a good mix that can actually do what she wants to do. Her tracking on her fully charged heavies always catch people off too meaning she's pretty decent in a team fight. The only downside I'd give her is the need to learn to last frame feint her kick if you plan on dueling. Her feats can be a bit selfish but since she contributes a fair bit elsewhere it's not as bad.
Cannot comment on Ocelotol since I had stopped playing around his time of release. Hopefully this comment helped some people learn some things about the heros mentioned here.

Warden? F**ckin really? I would get warmonger because she’s just better… and has the exact same bash…. So idk guess I’m just crazy for thinking more tools is better or something.
Fr. And warmonger has a wider base moveset, too. Also, looking at this guy's reps, he hasn't really had enough experience to give the most accurate information.
Hell, PK is probably a better duelist than Warden. She may not have a bash, but her ability to soft Feint almost anything makes it to where you'll almost always have frame advantage if you use her right. Combo that with controlling distance, and you shouldn't have any issues fighting any hero.
But advanced stuff like that takes a while to learn, so choosing someone with a good base moveset rather than a high skill ceiling is probably best for most players.
You can see that warmonger is his most played character so maybe he knows

Cent is just hella easy to turtle. He doesn't have good openers, and the ones he does have are easy to punish, and if he manages to start a combo, they're low damage, and only require a 50/50 to end it entirely.

Warden got some love this last season which wasn't expected, but I'd like to see a feat and perk rework for him since they're mediocre. For example, Raider is a B tier toon, but I have some great feats like Tireless, Fury and Fire Flask which makes up for it. I also wish Warden had crushing counter from the side and not just the top. Hitokiri's Senbonzakura is simply OP. Seriously, it must have been a For Honor dev's sick idea of a joke for trolling other players and making them rage quit.
Highlander is my next favorite toon after Warden, and is well-balanced despite his slow speed. His feats are okay, and he's good at mix ups.
Lawbringer is fun if you're good at parrying attacks because he has some great crushing counters.
I don't know how I feel about Berserker yet since I haven't played him enough. But it seems like it could be a powerful solo or Dominion player at higher levels.
I've been leveling Raider recently as I like a challenge. Again, he's a B Tier hero and his heavy attacks are on the slow side but his feats make up for those weaknesses.
Haven't played Kensei yet, but I think it'd be a monster in duels because of their quick attacks, speed and evasion.
Tiandi is simply sick in the right hands.

Dominion- Updated Conqueror with his mix ups and defense against gang attacks. Also has an unblockable feat that can come to good use when you’re being gang attacked.
Vikings
Agree with Berserker for duel
Dominion- Warlord with his defense and ability to harass opponents with relentless attacks and power through incoming light attacks
Samurai
Kensei for duel
Dominion- Kyoshin has it all. Speed, defense and insane mix ups
Wu Lin
Tiandi for duel. Agile and easy to learn
Dominion- Jiang Jun. This guy is a powerhouse and with good agility, stamina regeneration in fight and zone attacks to damage gang attacks
Outlanders
Pirate- Duel. Keeps you guessing with strong offense mixups and defense
Ocelotl- The best dominion character in the faction. The resurrection feat is awesome. Can save teams at brink of defeat by morphing anywhere. Also has good mix ups and decent defense
Glad/Cent, Berserk/Shaman, Kensei/Kyo, Jj/Shoa, Pirates/Afeer. These are the top tier for every faction I believe.

Gladiator Valkyrie Nobushi tiandi and afeera cause she is a good damage dealer
personally I would put gladiator as the best duelist from the knight faction. You can access your skewer mix-up every 5 seconds and it has like a 90% chance to guarantee you dmg. Also the skewer doing 39 dmg overall is just broken. O also I main gladiator and his feint to toe stab will land 90% of the time and if you land three (pretty easy to do) that's 30 dmg, and you don't even have to stop there you can keep going and just toe stab mix em until they die or rage quit
Shaman is absolutly Ridiculous in 1vs1 Not even thinking about her while talking about 1vs1s is crazy

I know you mentioned in the video that you don’t like playing Warden in Dominion matches, which is understandable. From my experience, Warden doesn’t provide much to the table when getting ganked by multiple people. But I still usually use Warden in Dominion since she has feats that make Dominion easier, such as, Conquerer and Inspire to get an edge during those matches and support your teammates. 1:35
@NotZenith I’ve been trying Tiandi for the last couple of weeks and have a terrible record. No matter how much I try with him, I just suck. What would you suggest I main as? I’m looking for a low skill floor hero who can still stand a chance without having to do mixups or high skill etc. stuff. (It doesn’t matter what class nor strength. @@NotZenith problem I run into as a Tiandi main is his Kick and side dodges get stopped by people outside of the fight ganking. His palm strike never gets a good punish because he can get knocked out of it by an outside attack. It's rough sometimes but JJ having he ability to hit a lot of people around him sometimes can stop people from trying to interrupt him, especially the pesky feint spammers

why orochi?
@angelaeasthom6549 orochi has the most versatile offence and defence out of the samurai and his mixup potential is almost limitless. His deflects break hyperarmour so is a hard counter against character's that can abuse it, he can recovery cancel any attack for easy chain offence pressure, has a very easy to access high damage unblockable, overall high damage moveset with a nasty oos punish and pressure. Just overall an incredibly versatile character, and I'm of the opinion that recovery cancels are terrible for the game unless in a specific part of a movement, not the whole kit as its such an easy way to keep up offence without much thought into how to actually position and play.

If someone attacks you while you have it you won't be interrupted allowing you to power through the attack and get damage in you flash blue when this happens.

warden is just a weaker warmonger
I can see why you would say that because Warmonger provides bleed and consistent combos. Although they are two different characters and they bring different things to the table. Believe it or not I like Warden as a support role and her charge is insane for getting close to your opponent. Warmonger doesn’t have an attack that provides the distance that warden provides.

Warmonger is better overall, and BP is great defensively, and both are def better in 4s, but wardens shoulderbash is just one of the best offensive tools in the game
As a warmonger main I think warden is the best knight for duels, BP best in 4’s, and warmonger is the most versatile, being really good in both but not quite better than either in their respective fields.

For duels:
Knights is Warden, Cent being a close second.
Vikings being Berserker, he has unreactable mix-ups if you do them correctly, also he has an unlock tech that can't be punished.
Samurai being Shinobi, a good Shinobi cannot be punished.
Wu Lin easily being Tiandi, nothing more to say, Shaolin is a far second.
Outlanders being Afeera, Afeera and Medjay are the only good duelists in Outlanders tbh.
For Dominion:
Knights being Black Prior, because of his flip and that's literally it.
Vikings still being Berserker, great for team fight scenarios while still having the ability to stall.
Samurai being Shinobi or Nobushi, Shinobi has good ganks but so does Nobushi, main thing seperating them is the fact that Shinobi is more of the dueling one whereas Nobushi is the team fight one, both are great but in general Shinobi would be the better pick for most as Nobushi has a specific playstyle.
Wu Lin is Zhanhu, zone attack is great for team fights and that's it, having superior dodges is just a bonus, Shaolin still stands strong as a close second though.
Outlanders is still Afeera, unreactable mix-ups, great for ganks, not much I can say.
For anyone who may disagree, I am a competitive player myself and these are MY opinions, doesn't mean their overall correct. Another thing to point out is that I do consider in all the techs each one of the heroes may be able to do and that's the only reason why Berserker is on both, if not for techs he wouldn't be best for duels.

Berserker isn’t the best Viking for duels, she’s actually only B tier at a high level. As someone who plays on this level it’s the reason I stopped maining her. Not a single unreactable mix in her kit and one of the easiest UB to react to.
@@MibuInMalibu Tier 3 buffered lights are unreactable for all console players, same as Shamans bleed light speed except with hyper armor. Dodge attack tech cancels out everything, doesn't matter if you undodgable, GB, light, heavy, bash, you can't punish it. You also can't parry it because the Zerk is too far away to be parried. Valk has an unreactable bash but there are techs that just completely counter it, even zone on all guard into dodge counters it. Other than that, Zerk has arguably the best deflect in the game, if not at least the better deflect in terms of Vikings. You could argue Shaman to be a better Duelist then Zerk but from my stand point Zerk will still be the better Duelist, my opinion of Zerk derives from that of my friend Vismerence who has consistently been at least 3rd grandmaster on PC before his business trip. However regardless, I don't how any more arguments for why Zerk is better, nonetheless I respect anyone's opinion on why other Vikings like Shaman or Valk are better, but based on my experience and time in the competitive scene in FH, Zerk is better.

Comp players are a fraction of the player base and would require a completely different tier list based on different elements of each hero in that context. Yes some things can be for both the casual and comp players but most considerations on what is "good" is very different between the two types of players.
