its because the warden fits into the easy to learn difficult to master category, warden can take on any other hero in the game on relatively even footing. sure its a skill game but certain heroes have natural advantages over other heroes. No one holds an advantage over the warden
except the nobushi, but they were kinda the cheese class of the beta

The viking's design seems to be about the ideal monstrous brute, he embodies power and intimidation from just being this barrel chested muscle bound monster. Which makes sense in a medieval-esk fighting game where the objective is to beat your opponents to a bloody pulp. If you want sexualized male characters aimed at a female demographic look at something like Terra or the animes they have of guys just flirting with each other. They are not loaded with barrel chested monstrous men and are immensely popular among younger women. Also stuff like C.W shows, teen wolf, true blood, not many hulking brutes in media aimed at women.

Ik I've played dominion in the past year though. Not very crispy animations like before but it's still a slight animation per kill on the foot soldiers.

@@jamiesnack Then they would need to change the dmg, bcs even if warden has it only from the top, his crushing counter does 40dmg and guarantees another light for 15 dmg. Basically Jormungander slam on block.
If Ubi made it all directional they have to remove the guaranteed light and decrease the dmg to 30.
Trust me, I play Warden and I personally think his current crushing counter is too strong. And against ppl who are over confident you can reliably feint top heavy and GB, and then laugh at them.

Snow Fox a halberd and a pole axe are different, if similar weapons.

Yasir Khan, no, the Lawbringer indeed uses a poleaxe, a ridiculously oversized one, a halberd is fairly similar but different in a minor manner, a poleaxe has a hammer on the reverse side of the axe whereas a halberd has a hook
In game you can customize the hammer to a hook.
It is a halberd, the poleaxe looks different compared to what hes actualy using

Viktor Stein weren't any Vikings in the Crusades either. Hard to tell on the Samurai, but they appear to probably be from the 16th century, so also not Crusades. Hell the Lawbringer is wearing full plate, which is a hallmark of the High medieval-early Renaissance. The game isn't in a distinct time period, and I was being facetious. Sooo sue me.

If they ever add a new faction, I would hope it to be the Shaolin Monks. One could use a bow staff, another could use hook blades, a third could use either a Dao sword, or a Jian, and the fourth could use a whip chain for range. They could be versitile mobile heroes.
I'm personally not a big fan of the Samurai (in game, or otherwise) but I do love me my monks!

George Poupos well they've already come up with unrealistic clothing and armor so that should be a posibility. (I'm talking about that a lot of classes are wearing leather armor, the peacekeeper has a full steel helmet under her hood, and that the Raider has horns on his helmet, and there are probably more unrealistic things i haven't noticed yet
Severin Salling leather armor isn't unrealistic many cultures used studed leather / padded leather armor when they couldn't afford chain mail or plate armor.

He obviously thought the aspect of putting wizards in the game for dlc was a more funny idea than what the actual dlc lineup is. My comment was supposed to show how annoying and drawn out the whole "I hate company because they put options for buying more stuff in games" arguement. Do you not have free will? Do you really care that much about if there's more purchasing options after launch? Why? Its not like they force you to buy anything. And hell the structure that they are going for in for honor is the same as rainbow six. Its free.

Fat battlefield Kid He's right, the 1v1 and 2v2 modes are 1 life round based modes. The 4v4's have respawns but if the blue team is about to win the red side has 1 life and once they die well they can't respawn. Same if red is winning against blue. Then blue will have 1 life or face permadeath.

Im playing the game now and there no honor in it peoples will fight you 2 and 3v1, the peoples learn one easy move then spam it none stop.
Isn't the Wardens "longsword" more of a greatsword? look at the size, a longsword is a little over arms length, a greatsword usually reaches the collar of the wielder from the ground up, and some are the entire length of the wielder

a sword above 5ft in length would definitely be considered a greatsword, unless the wielder was tall. You see, longswords and greatswords had different designed too. For instance, good old Willy Walace was much, much taller than the average man, and he had a longsword design blade at the length of a greatsword, to accommodate his large stature. You can find images of replicas of the blade online pretty easily.

For real. My time online has shown me people mostly only pick knights and samurai, more specifically Warden, Peacekeeper, Orochi, and Nobushi at that.

I think, personally, the Lawbringer is the coolest because of the bulky as hell armor, the menacing demeanor, the *TRUE* face of death incarnate who will be the one to execute you in the grand court, or on the battlefield with everyone watching
