Couple weeks before my Christmas period in Norway begins, but getting a session in on the Scottish north east coast before I go! First time using Dingle dangles in Scotland. Obviously fancier, expensive baits like cart are a must here. Any tips on how to use the stuffed squid baits on the dangles? If not, I'm going to try cart encased in mackerel/coalie cutlets! Further blending of fishy cultures from around the seas. Highly value your knowledge and amazing videos, Bill. Massively improved my fishing over the years watching you. Slàinte mhath as always 👍
Hi bud! In your case I think I would make a dangled angle long enough to accommodate the cart, and then just whip it at either end to the Dingle dangle. I think that will work for you! Thanks Brother, tight lines 😁👊
I would like to thank you for the video on frozen blow lug.i have a freezer full that I dug when they were plentiful. Enough for the winter. Before I dug in cold winter when it is hard a a snot running from my nose that a sharp knife wouldn't cut. Cheers
I Totally fancy that elastic ! Mostly used it for J hooks and herring for flatfish.. I found it easier to spinn the hook with bait than spinn the elastic?? 🤷🏼♂️ Does it make sense?… Yeah i know your answer.. : “Whatever, no worries.. Do What is best/easier for you”
Nice video Billy. Question on the knot you use for attaching the snood to the circle hook. Like you I use the knot less Knot. Here in the UK tho most sea anglers use a loop knot for the dongle/hair unsure why? considering the dingle dangle/dongle/hair is based on a self hooking rig but there’s too much freedom of movement of the hook with a loop knot. I’m also a keen coarse angler and never used or seen a loop knot being used on a self hooking hair rig. I suppose it’s like everything, some numpty with fishing credentials said the loop knot works on the dongle and everyone follows🤣 keep up the great work buddy👍
Hi bud. There are many ways to snell a hook! It doesn't matter which one you use, just remember the line should come from the back of the hook through to the front! That's the most important bit. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Billy a fella got $6million for a banana and some duct tape art. That baits got to be worth at least double that you should call Sotheby`s !! 🤣 Another great video , with awesome information so thank you yet again for sharing it with us !
Hi Ian. I have made one especially for flatfish, I call it a flatfish hair! Follow the link below. If you make a load for the freezer, you will have to secure them to the hook with some bait elastic. Otherwise they will just come off again.
3:34 STFU fishy fish😂 Im still cracking up when you say dingle dangle🤣Now i have to Watch how to make the Dingle Dangle… Guess we cannot buy those… in shops or web??🤷🏼♂️
No you can't get them on the web! Except Maybe in South Africa. The South Africans have got a good sense of humor, they like to give things silly name, sometimes!
Great video again! Any idea if this works off a boat, fishing in a very inland fjord where it’s either super deep mud or rocky snagfest where rigs get smashed up this looks like a great way to keep the bait on the hook for longer 😂
Hi Billy great video. This is a random question not related to your video atall but it’s still about fishing and your fishing gear. Do you know Is your lurekiller saltist reel handle compatible with the Diawa statist reel handle and vice versa ? I got a lurekiller reel there in 4000 size and I was wanting to get a longer handle for it and there is a Diawa saltist handle for sale at a good price I saw on eBay but don’t know if it fits any idea ? Thanks
BRILLIANT! These tips will definitely help my surf fishing here in NJ 🎣! Thanks !
Anytime brother! Hope it helps catch you that beast, tight lines 😁👊
A work of art Billy, thanks for sharing!
Anytime Andy, thanks Brother 😁✊

Anytime Mark! There's nothing like a freezer full of lug! Thanks Brother 😁👌

Actually no! That's not going to work with this bait. It can only be done the way it is in the video. But thanks anyway 😁✊
Great job Billy, need to try them on the tope next year.
Is the best way to go! Try the big game rig as well. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Thanks Billy!
Anytime brother 😁👌
Long may your dingle dangle mate . Much love on ya bro!
Thanks David, much appreciated brother 😁👌

@ my thoughts exactly, just unsure why many anglers are using a perfection loop on their circle hook?

I agree brother, if I don't make it as a TH-camr! I can switch to modern art 🤣👌
Someone did dog poop in a Can?? For “art”
@ the world is doomed man ! I’ll stick to watching Billy make his art on here 🤣
you make a great chef :)
🤣👌
Would you just reduce the size of the dingle dangle for say dab if using circle hook, guess you could dait a load and freeze them ready as well ??

What a piece of art brother! Did it catch you a but ?! Appreciated as always 🤘🏼🎣
No Buts, just Dingle dangles 🤣 thanks Brother 😁✊

Well, it is designed so you can cast a bait, below a circle hook! I suppose it might make it tougher to pull off as well. Give it a shot 😁👌
I'm here for the algorithm. 😁
Me too 🤣

Hi Williams. Unfortunately I don't either have one of those two reels, so I have no idea. Thanks Brother
@ Oh sorry Billy I thought your lurekiller 6000 that you use is the lurekiller saltist 6000 is it a different model ? Thanks

@@Billyfishing_watch Sorry Billy my bad they just look alike
👋✌️
Thanks Brother 😁👌
You'll spend most of your time baiting up
It works out on the other side! That bait will fish for over an hour 👌
