Downtown Bay View reminds me of Brady st in the seventies. Milwaukee was a special place to grow up. And after high school you knew you would have a good paying union job. The fish fry’s I miss along with The Lake. Bowl a couple lines have a couple at the tavern, life is good. Enjoy yourself take care ya here

I'm 33 and grew up on the south side. My grandma owned several taverns over the years on Forest Home Ave. To me, Bay View resembles what the south side used to be like in the 80s and early 90s. Thanks for watching, cheers David :)

North on KK in Bay View into Walkers point. West on Greenfield. North on 27th. Once you cross that bridge you are no longer on the south side. East on Wisconsin past Marquette into down town. Right turn back to the Southside.

I love to see Milwaukee showcased, as it's not given the voice like other cities the same "size"; physically or population wise, but I appreciate the video.... Only thing is the camera view is very narrow and should be straightened out a bit, especially cuz your driving and having it's perspective like this looks like your doing 100 mph lol. Thanks for the video either way.

@Chandra Kapoor beaches that are awesome in Milwaukee would be: grant park a.k.a "7 bridges" by the locals is located in the south Milwaukee area which is a city on the far Southside of Milwaukee and is not the Southside of Milwaukee, many pl get confused by this. Grant park has at some spots 100 ft bluffs and trails all through the woods, which you can reach Bender park just south of grant, it's a spot for surfing and lots of jet skis go here. Bradford Beach is located east of downtown and during the summer has thousands of volleyball fans and gets extremely crowded. Unfortunately the drug dealers go to Bradford Beach and can become very dangerous... I've been to la and Miami and I'm telling you Bradford Beach is unique within itself and to see the drug dealers carelessly flaunting themselves is crazy but also kinda cool I guess lol. Atwater park in Shorewood just a 10 minute drive or north of Bradford is an amazing park situated on the bottom of a GIGANTIC bluff, with a asphalt bendy walkable path and a massive staircase if you wanna get straight to the bottom much quicker. There's many swings and rides for the young ones to play upon and there's a beautiful deck that spans the width of the park. Its in a very expensive part of Milwaukee and you won't find any trouble here, just extravagant mansions from long ago and new ones emerging from the changing of times. You will find these parks ave many ppl coming and going . Enjoy.

@@chandrakapoor7807 strangely, Marquette happens to be just west of downtown Milwaukee in one of the worst areas of the city but it in itself has no problems with the crime whatsoever, they maintain the college area with every measure possible and if you ask me most criminals seem to be smart enough to know that attempting to do something illegal on the camps would be highly reprehensible given the money, technology, security they have in that place is crazy! Marquette has seen in the last couple years, almost a boom in buildings and self preservation, I mean a lot of money has been put into the "avenues west" neighborhood because of Marquette, the college has a very influential and very deep pockets of not only the owners themselves but via the alumni and the Jewish community they very well 😁. University of Milwaukee Wisconsin is located just a few blocks south of one of the most beautiful and expensive neighborhoods in the city; Shorewood and it's located east of the upper east idea neighborhood of River west. As the local call it: U.W, pronounced like "you-dub" 😁, this ae has massive 3 story bungalows everywhere and the students pack themselves together to afford the rent and this part of Milwaukee you'll see the alumni Greek writing on many homes and party's are like breathing out this way lol. The college is just a few blocks walk from lake Michigan and during the summer this neighborhood is one of the best to just walk through but to the east just a couple blocks away is Oakland St which filled with every type of store and restaurant's you can imagine. I'm not exactly sure about the university of Milwaukee but Marquette has a very high percent of "out-of-state" students as well as out-of-country students as well, most notable is the Asian students that come to Marquette is impressive. At the end of the day these colleges are as good as any other in the country. Hopefully this has given you some insight into the city as well as the "academics" Milwaukee has. Have a Good day Chandra.
