After watching this, I'm thinking about today's city public transit buses and the fact the passengers are completely surrounded by metal. Even the seats themselves are either metal or hard plastic with no soft padded cushioning anywhere whatsoever!!! Oh, and they have no seatbelts or other safety restraints either, except for wheelchair restraints for wheelchair passengers. In the event of a major accident involving one of these buses, I have a feeling there would be a lot of serious injuries as a result of the current design of the interior and lack of safety features. Why not bring back soft padded cushioned seats, as well as have cushioned seat backs tall enough to also serve as headrests (to prevent or reduce head, neck, back, leg, or knee injuries)? Adding seatbelts wouldn't be a bad idea either. I believe the designers and engineers of city public transit buses could learn a thing or two from the designers and engineers of school buses, which are much, MUCH safer! I mean, even without seatbelts, being surrounded by padded cushioning is much better and safer than being surrounded by hard metal any day of the week!!!

I remember in the 80s at the yearly funfair in my city,one of the exhibits was done by the police. I will never forget they had 2 scenes set up in their display, 1 was a wrecked car with a hole in the windshield, apparently they were drink driving and the glass beer bottle got pushed down their throat, the other was of a darked apartment with an outline on the bed of where someone got stabbed by an intruder...wild days back then and a lot of fun.. The best one however was at the museum back then,theyd set up a 1600s amputation scene,it was so well done even down to the smell,it was so unique and impressive back then, i'll never forget it...

I BEEN IN 2- ALMOST FATAL ACCIDENTS. I WAS DRIVING WITH MY FRIEND IN MY 1970 DODGE CHARGER DOWN A ROAD WHEN A 18 WHEELER TURNED LEFT IN FRONT OF ME . I WAS GOING 55 MPH . I CREAMED INTO THE DIESEL FUEL TANK ⛽ RUPTURING THE TANK SPILLING FUEL ALL AROUND US. IF IT BEEN GASOLINE I WOULD BE FRIED AND DEAD. NO SEATBELTS ON MY FRIEND AND I (IGORANT) MY FRIEND HIT THE WINDSHIELD WHILE MY FACE WENT INTO THE STEERING WHEEL . MY CHIN CHOPPED OPEN . GOT HELP FAST BECAUSE A LARGE HOSPITAL WAS 1/4 MILES AWAY. THIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED 1987. THE ACCIDENT WAS 100% THE TRUCKER'S FAULT.

They showed these every week in Driver’s Ed classes, and sadly, several of my friends ended up like this before they graduated, or following graduation parties. 💔 Too many never got a “second chance.” Their first mistake was their last, and they took others with them.

Milwaukee is going in the toilet. Manufacturers are closing up and moving out of state,because of cheaper labor. The taxes in this state and city are forcing people to move. Back in the old days property owners weren't paying for ice and snow removal on their water bills. Waiting 50 years to get rid of lead pipes in our water systems. Where was all this money gokng back in the 70's, 80's. Look they are showing people playing softball which has disappeared in Milwaukee because they started making players pay to play. When I stopped playing the county had us paying $12 a player, so a team of 15 guys equals $160. The city charged $15 a player so some teams would only have 10 or 11 guys,because who wants to sit on the bench when your paying to play. So $150 a team to play in the city,plus sponsor fees $350,and balls. Almost $8000 a team and every league had 8 teams so $32000 a night the city and county was making. I thought property taxes paid for the parks. Then when they started players to pay they couldn't argue balls and strikes. If I'm paying to play softball and paying for the parks and umpires also with property taxes I have a right to argue. Who took the money from the county parks???? Now they have to push beer gardens to make money to put into their pockets. People of Milwaukee look at your water bills,now we are paying for street lights. We Energies are raising their rates because we had a mild winter. The big shots lost money on their stocks.

I still to this day miss the first house my parents bought when we first moved to Milwaukee in 87. N73rd and Ruby, and Columbus Park was only 3 blocks from my house Side note 3:30 Still to this day! As I write this in 2024 there still working on that Zoo Interchange. Still puzzles me why!!!???
