wade schalles the greatest college wrestler ever .look at his college record and see how many ncaa champs hes pinned sometimes moving up 2 weights to do it...
In high school we called the spladle a chalice cradle. It wasn't until just now I realized I wasn't spelling it right. Was a fun move caught more than a few kids in it. Neat to know that bit of history.
"2nd best pinner of all time" hahaha, the rib rubbing is great. Not many that can make jokes like that, and couldn't ask for 2 better men to make/receive the joke.
people often forget the destruction that larry put on dan. he destroyed him so badly during that 1 beating than all past and present wins were negated in the minds of all wrestlers and fans from that day on. sad : (
@@cococornucopia8743 oh its ok, u will soon know who Larry is... as i mentioned, he pretty much showed the world how inferior dan's wrestling style was with a country azz beating like no other.
Not true at all. Gable went on to win Olympic gold while not surrendering a point means way more than a collegiate loss ever will. What did Larry do on the world stage? Not much of anything as far as I can tell.
@@brutledge3507 ya, i agree partially and some of the olympic wins were overshadowed by teamates description of "enhanced" chemical incentives., nevermind the inferior quality olympic competition at that time. u cant really say it was a fluke with no point lost, good try tho.
@@jimboslice9472 The Russians have never been inferior to anyone so not sure where that comes from. I've never heard a word about enhancement in 1972 Olympics, I think gable had proven to anybody by then he didnt need any of that crap to beat the worlds best at the time. Nice try on tour part though.
Nice touch at the end. Well done.

I agree!
WADE IS A SAMURAI.. HERE IN BRAZIL WE LOVED THIS EXPLANATIONS
Wow! I've had the pleasure to know both those gentleman, and I'm speechless. Not just great wrestlers, but great men as well. Thanks!

Tough assignment: Roast Dan Gable!

Wade is also a great catch wrestler
Nice zing on Lee Roy Smith (and Gable). The Smith family is probably still holding a grudge. And Dan coached John internationally.
This was great

Good, except for the inclusion of Billy Baldwin, who is a complete jerk.
