Am I just that high or is the sound quality in the first song of exceptionally good quality. A warm and dirty guitar tone sitting right in the pocket of the groove, Chris rasping his blues on the top.
It's a shame that the band went on hiatus after 'Lions.' Marc Ford was gone, but they still had Eddie Harsch and Steve Gorman. Audley Freed's playing added a unique flavor to Rich's rhythm guitar parts. Plus, the band still kicked butt during live shows.
I feel robust and enthusiastic after watching this! Just what the Dr ordered! Thanks for sharing. Gotta love how this band evolved over two decades of drama, turmoil, breakups, hiatuses, new guitar players. Every album is different yet no songs are bad. Some just better than others. Now we have the Magpie Salute picking up where this band ended.
Chanchao Kiitos We all prefer Marc, because he has charisma, and he was there during the best records and the best era of the band. However, Audley is an incredible musician and projects a strong personality on the stage. I think he’s been underrated by Crowes fans...
Prefer Audley's time in the band over Marc's. Just think he was a more tasteful player. Didnt get the credit he deserved with this band. Guess Rich felt a little to threatened by his talent. Lol

How the crap does this NOT have more views? Best rock band in the world back in the day. "Greasy Grass River" alone sold this show.

Mike Pizzle thank God for the magpie!
Never heard so many tracks from Lions in a Crowes set. They dropped pretty much everything from that album for their live shows very quickly.
love Audley Freed leads!
J'Mac !
Just a great player with great sound,
although I have to admit, that Marc
Ford is my favorite.
