I saw the Crowes in 2013 for the first time at NYC's Terminal 5. The BEST, most kick ass rock n roll show since Zeppelin played MSG in 1975 and 76. I told my friend after the show "wow, I really missed the boat on the Black Crowes, what happened? "He replied" we were still hanging onto the Grateful Dead and the late 60's & 70's (and so were the NY radio stations) which, if memory serves me, did not play a lot of Crowes, except for Hard to Handle and Jealous Again. Those hits were just the tip of the iceberg! This group is FANTASTIC with a massive catalog of outstanding music. .Sooo glad I found them, been listening ever since. Long live the Black Crowes!!!
If these guys don't realize they should patch things up to make this glorious sound again then SHAME on someone. How could you SELFISHLY deprive the world of something so beautiful?
Thanks for what y'all did give. I've seen the Crowes 7 times and this was a show I wish I could go back and see. I only saw Marc Ford with them once in 93(?) and I was having an LSD experience . I wish I could have gone back and microdosed instead as it was the only time I got to see them with Marc.
What a great show ! What else can I say but to wish We could turn back the time and revisit some moments , places and people.Thank you for the video!!!
Honestly, this band was actually a supergroup. They should do way long shows again and Rich and Marc could both do solo sets so Chris can get a smoke break or rest his voice.
We were probably there. Rarely missed a show anywhere near Jersey. Live in South Jersey. Have seen a few shows in AC at Trump Marina and at Borgata. Have seen shows in N. Jersey, DE. and PA. If family, work and funds would have allowed would have seen many more.
Jeff Drummond yeah I agree , all started with Marc coming back for this tour, they are all amazing but man Marc adds that much needed vibe and presence with his great licks , they are a favorite band of mine. One of the great bands, when they were on, they played with the best of them
2 nd time I saw them in 05 at the Tower theater in upper Darby pa . 2 hour and a half sets W a 5 minute break..... Always loved the candles as a backdrop.....
I can see them doing something like this again without Ed of course because at the end of the day if you think about it they all grew up together I don't know I just think things go in circles and it's a possibility music first right There was just something about these guys when they were all together and I was at the show great show
The guy who ran the camera is friendly with Chris, so Chris probably told him to keep the camera on him. You can't go to that many shows and not know where to put the camera.
)chris u have no rights to me so dont talk about me anymore i mean it you can hurt people with what u say or put them in there grave so leave my life alone
2005 and 2006 we're simply the Best Black Crowes shows..... Simply Awesome 😎..... Great shows, Fantastic fans and fun !!!!!
I always thought the '96-'97 shows were their peak but that Seeing Things opener has me re-thinking that. Wow! Such a powerful live band.
CBGB, New York City, NY 1994
That 05/06 tour was amazing. Peak live Crowes.
@@moreblack CBGB was the best!

55:35 I guess that's where Omission came from...
Nice catch. For sure it did.
Great call. Rich has so many riffs in the jams that he's pulled out for tunes.
Indeed, well spotted
Omission is a much older song. From the Hookah Brown days.

12:25 Don't you wanna feel it? Stare it cold!
💎
They were good every time I ever saw them, but I really thought the 2005-06 shows were fantastic.
Agreed I saw them 7 times in 2005 and twice in 2006 it was just insane how great they were playing
Jeff Drummond yeah I agree , all started with Marc coming back for this tour, they are all amazing but man Marc adds that much needed vibe and presence with his great licks , they are a favorite band of mine. One of the great bands, when they were on, they played with the best of them
Travis Travinyle what do you think of The Magpie Salute?
Yep the 2005/2006 tours were their best.
2 nd time I saw them in 05 at the Tower theater in upper Darby pa . 2 hour and a half sets W a 5 minute break..... Always loved the candles as a backdrop.....
thanx for the upload, true jamzz goin on with the crowes!!!
Thanks for the up Boa!
Unfortunately, I caught the later part of this tour, when oven mitts and Paul Stacey where in the band. friday the 13th in santa Cruz.
Edward Spicer bumper
THANK YOU! =D
SWEEEEET! =D
RIP Weird Old Ed
lol Chris comes in at 49:54 with that stinking cowbell all like, "I don't know what kind of groove you guys are laying down, but I'm about to ruin it"
there's nothing wrong with the cowbell other than it's too loud in the mix when it comes in
Hahaha
Hard to believe this was a band on the verge of losing two members
A melhor formação e com o já saudoso ed hasch . Músico completo ,suas bases no órgão era de tirar o fôlego.
More cowbell!
❤
I see a lot of smoke that I'm pretty sure isn't coming from fog machines!
So good! Did u video these. They must be synched with pro audio. Thanks again!!
5:23 ..... Oh Eddie!
@ 41:00 My morning song
I can see them doing something like this again without Ed of course because at the end of the day if you think about it they all grew up together I don't know I just think things go in circles and it's a possibility music first right
There was just something about these guys when they were all together and I was at the show great show
Wife further destroyed by abusive husband.
I love when the camera guy focus's on the keyboards when the lead guitar is doing his solo. idiots.
We did our best but made mistakes. It was just for fun anyway, Lucas.
@@rcgartheadmit Garthe you operated the camera baked!

@@rcgarthe Thanks so much for helping to capture this. I miss the salad days.

Damn what a shame that the sound and video is so badly out of sync.
