4 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
Covers - Depending in size
Large Apples: 6-8
Medium to Small Apples: 10-12
Small Apples: 12-18
Regular Recipe plus Half: 6 + 1 1/2 + 1 1/2

1 1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 cup light corn syrup

Hi thank you for what you do 💗 I was wondering a couple things when it comes to Candy apples. I did 9 well May 16 till I got the best 9. I got air bubbles, they dropped enough to creat a thick bottom. Why dose that happen?

Would adding Lemon extract or lemon juice make the candy taste like lemon or would the flavor just cook away because the temp is so high??

I would add lemon flavor a oil flavoring to the candy mixture not lemon juice because it will break down the candy mixture

After the candy mixture boil and reaches 300 do you have to wait before you dip your apples for the mixture to cool
Hi love your videos.. I need help pleaaaaaase.. Whenever I tried making candy apples and as soon as I add the gel coloring the mixture seizes almost immediately why is this? I've literally used 3kg sugar from trying all the time I followed your instructions to the tee.. Why is this happening? I don't want to waste anymore sugar😢 I added the coloring last when the mixture was almost ready to dip. I tried making the baby blue colour added the white first then a few blue drops

When the sugar candy has reached the correct temperature and you take it off the burner do you let it cook down and if you do how long do you wait and then start to dip your apples?
Ro, can you double dip the apples ?
Yes you can but it will make the apple to thick but if you’re talking about double dipping in another color, you can also do that but just remember it will make the Apple thick

What is the difference from Callabaut chocolate and the chocolate you use? Have you worked with this brand before?
Callebaut is real Chocolate, it’s a great quality brand. It’s actually a Belgian chocolate which has real cocoa in it. The chocolate I use are called Candy Melts which doesn’t have cocoa and isn’t a real chocolate it’s mostly used because it doesn’t need to be tempered. Where you work with real chocolate with cocoa in it, it needs to be tempered. Tempering Chocolate is a process I have those that do a ladder chocolate molding or dipping chance to work with chocolate candy melts. I like to work with both but more so candy melts because people are more comfortable with a tempered chocolate

You can by placing it into silicon candy molds or just pouring on a greased baking sheet. My cousin loves the candy but hates the apples so we always save her the candy.😋
