    Struth mate, I always prefer original, but what you've achieved here is a big improvement over original, cheers and well done!!

    Overall great looking upgrade - and your videos are streets ahead of most bike builders, well done.

    i started this journey with you when i bought an xj650 for $400 early this summer. i learned with you and eventually ended up selling mine, but already invested in your bike i stuck around. Glad i did. Your videos have been some of the best youtube content i have seen in a long time. Its a damn shame how youtubes money grabs and promotes shitty clickbait. With your videos you know EXACTLY what you are about to watch, I wont see you talking at the camera about how your new motorcycle gloves are the best or some dumb shit nobody cares about. I hope you read this and it brings you motivation to keep going despite any hardships and to never ever let the youtube money change your videos. Im sure I dont have to say what I think of this finished product. If i saw this in real life i might actually tear up by how beautiful it is, the fucking engineering is just magnificent.
    Id like to see a scooter or motorcycle converted into a 3 wheeler build. Street legal too ( the tricky part ).

      Thanks ZJ, I appreciate the feedback and don't plan to change my videos. For a long time after starting making videos I had hardly any views, but it didn't stop me because I enjoy doing this work. Eventually more views came and what keeps me going is knowing I can help motivate others. Cheers!

    On another video I have sung this bike's praises, on this video nothing has changed. Love it.

    Persistent and nice work. I'm inspired by a 900's renovation. Maybe I'll do it. I have a comment. Videos do not have the same name. Commas and dashes make the search worse. Making and following the same rule for all videos makes it easier to search for episodes. example: Yamaha XJ650 Part 1 project name. Yamaha XJ 650 Part 2 project name. Yamaha XJ 650 Part 3 project name .... so on

      Hi Mate, no its a custom build. I had to modify it to get it to fit

      Hi Mate, yes made the side covers myself out of sheet metal. Check my earlier video showing the process. I also made the seat base myself out of sheet metal and its complete with a concealed drawer...

    Brother, where do you get the new spare parts for this motorcycle? I have a 1986 xj700 and I want to restore it to the last screw

    • @Mezzmoengineering
      @Mezzmoengineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mate, parts are not easy to find or cheap. I got some gear from my local Yamaha dealer and the rest I searched globally for private sales, ebay etc. Hardly anything I purchased was from Australia

      @@Mezzmoengineering Im modifying the Swingarm from an 87 Virago for my 82 750 Maxim. It's lighter 2 or 3 inch's longer. Will also have to convert it to a Monoshock. Not sure if I can, but we'll see I suppose.
