Actually, this is NOT the first burst for the GS Mini. The GS Mini-e Koa Plus has a burst finish. This guitar is gorgeous. I Love mine! ❤
They've done some great stuff with the GS Mini, but if I had a wish, I'd love to see a cocobolo mini 😃
Christmas of 2021 I bought myself a Taylor GS Mini Koa Plus. I installed some Gotoh 510 Mini tuners in cosmic black and Taylor ebony abalone bridge pins. A year later and I couldn’t be happier. It’s an excellent bedroom acoustic. The Aero soft case that comes with the Koa Plus is also a fantastic case. Every guitar player should own one of these.
i bought my 3rd Taylor and it was a GS mini. I sold the other two and made mini my only guitar. I love my all mahogany GS mini.

Only because I like these videos so much, I googled Cooper, found out about the music he makes, and because of all that I know he is playing a part of his own song there at the beginning. Which sounds great! 🙂 Keep it up boys!
Taylor did in fact have a sale at their warehouse in El Cajon and did have a number of prototypes for sale - I took a photo of an urban ash GS Mini with its rather blonde natural color. Maybe we'll see it sooner than we think!

My GS-Mini collection currently at 16! Each is a different wood pairing, finish, etc. I'd like to see a blacktop model and a redwood model. They have done a fiddled and figured maple model but not yet a quilted maple model which would be nice also.

One thing many reviews don’t show is the plugged in sound. For someone like me who plays them live, it would be nice to hear.

Love my Mini. When it isn't on my lap it's right beside me. I own two Martins but the little guy sounds good and I don't worry about it getting knocked over. They are sturdy and the satin finish on mine absorbs minor hits with no damage at all. You touch a gloss finish wrong and you get a ding. I have all the guitars I need and then some but I would seriously consider this one.

I want to see a gloss finish version of the same Caramel burst with the ES- B pick up system.
I would love to see this caramel burst finish on the 200 and 300 series and for Taylor to use the ES2 on the Mini Caramel
Purchased my GS Mini in 2010. I installed a K & K Ultra pickup, which sounds amazing. The original ES Go pickup Taylor offered wasn't very good. Probably one of the guitars that gets played the most. I like the "trading cards" analogy. 😀 I have a Mini-e Koa version on order.

Hello, I follow your channel I love your videos. What do you think of the Sheeran by Lowden w-04? I really like the sound of the Taylor GS mini, but I've seen that the W-04 has a wider nut and I think it's better for fingerpicking. Thank you very much, greetings from Toledo (Spain)

Doesnt the koa plus have a burst?
I would like to see them do away with the current preamp on the GS mini and do the ES2 across the board. The function of the tuner is not impressive and the eq sliders seem kind of cheap. Other than that I love the GS mini.

Maple top is always really cool but the sound is too much closed for me.

I do not love them. I feel like they’re kinda bad at everything. They’re great guitars but they’re too big for travel and too small to sound like a regular Taylor. High quality though.
