- Season 3 opens with Episode 1 of Guinea Fowl TV which clearly shows the flock enjoying the day walking around in the snow, eating leafy green alfalfa and white proso millet. Normally guinea fowl do not care for snow, but our flock has become accustomed to the strange white stuff.

Any tips on breaking a dog who wants to "play" with the birds? Right now I'm just verbally excusing my border collie mix from the brooder room in our house, but I can see problems in the future when both he and they are outside. Chasing to "play" will certainly escalate into dead or injured birds if left unchecked.
He will break off his intense staring / licking of chops and go lay down if I tell him, but I would not trust him alone in the same room as their bin right now.

Joe Amaral i lived on a ranch there also. The owner had guineas and peafowl. Both did well there, with supplemented grain.
Watching the video I would had guest some where’s in eastern Montana. Before she mentioned it.
how many guinea hens can you mate to one cock? I have only seen them in pairs on most farms.
