- Michael Jefferson King (born 1 July 1961), is a British former bodybuilder and wrestler, best known for playing Shadow in the ITV show Gladiators.

I worked on the first 3 seasons of Gladiators in charge of the arena floor security. Jeff was always a pleasure to be with. Except when he was back stage getting into the zone for duel. He also liked a joke and a scare and a few times hid in the curtain folds backstage only to step out and put the wind up us. So glad to see him come through the dark times.
Did you notice any sort of signs or evidence of him taking steroids
@sarabrown3821 The evidence was how he looked, he was huge and lean, you can't get that big and lean naturally. Only uneducated non-lifters would question whether he was natural or not.

Shadow and his crew were the reasons I got started in the gym, I’m 57 now and still training, still in great shape and all due to Gladiators. Thank you Jeff 👍

In recovery myself, when your in active addition you live to use & use to live. Jeff comes across decent guy he's got alot to give & am sure he will keep on his Journey helping others and himself 1st n foremost, grt chat n kept it real guys ..🤝

I was going to be polite but since you've gone first! The discussion with TR was great but the direct questions to him were very jarring. A nice conversation that flows wherever it flows would be better IMHO. Because it's TR there will always be something to learn. Rogan hardly talks at all. Apart from about DMT.

Liam, where did you get the framed movie soundtrack "stack" picture from that's in the background on the wall? At least that's what they look like. I remember laserdsics from back in the day which I bought regularly from the states but I see Baby Driver on there which I can't see being on laserdisc so I'm thinking they are movie soundtracks on vinyl. A truly horrible man and should still be in prison. He introduced so many to illegal steroids and ruined so many people's lives - even Linford Christie. in 2020 he was jailed for 6 years and I have no idea why they let him out early but remember you don't get a 6 year sentence unless it is serious. Not a role model and someone people should stay clear off - should have been deported back to Jamaica IMO.
Trust me, I did natural bodybuilding for years! Competed for the British natural championship. At 42 I had a stint on the roids. It's soooooo easy to build muscle on the roids! They are miracle drugs when it comes to bodybuilding. Stay natural guys.

I've heard him on other shows and he talked lots. I think the quality of some of the questions here made him close up ("when did you realise Jet was off limits", really?!?!?!)
