CubBear07 Thanks. I see your observation answered my question. I live in E Tennessee , with hills and steep slopes. X 758 is the only solution with 2+acres, beside a ventrac, too expensive, and over kill. Thanks✌️
Emmanuel Silva For flat ground, go with a commercial Zero Turn or their Z9 series. Z997i is crazy. Up to 72” deck, 11.5 mph mowing speed, 37.4 hp 3 cylinder diesel... that thing will get an acre done is no time
Awesome video! I just upgraded my 54HC to a 60HC since I live on a bigger piece of property now! how well does these little X700 series handle a burst hog? I have a rear 540 and a cat 1 limited for my X739. Thanks!
I'm just wondering.... DieselGTGuy ... Why are you discharging your grass onto the uncut grass ... I've always discharged my grass onto the already cut grass... except for the first time around ... I'm a owner of a X-739
At 3 inch height of cut you should be able to put your hand flat on the ground and put it under the gage wheels. That is how I was taught at work. I am a service tech at a John Deere dealer
You're making the mower work extra hard by cutting over grass that has not been mown that has cut grass on top of it. You should always mow uncut grass to discharge onto cut grass...if you want your mower to last longer.
Mowing in tall grass is not going to make it not last long.. what will is just keeping up on oil changes , greasing it and sharping the blades . That grass was nothing to it and will not hurt the diesel. I keep my oils change and deck and all greased up and it does fine .
Some body please tell Captain Clueless he doesn't have to remow the clippings after the second round it's just painful to watch black smoke on a new machine is the first clues it's over loaded
Lmfao love this. I don’t have to but I want to does that piss you off some more and sorry someone is mad Bc she rolls Coal it’s just from A dirty air filter don’t need to be all mad
What a beautiful machine!! Deere is still making incredible machines to this day. I'm hoping to finance a X500 series down the road.
Sure is man was well worth the upgrade from a 332
I have just bought an x950 and it’s great
i have the same tractor. when i mow and no one is around , especially in these conditions, I use a bungy cord to hold the shute open. Just my opinion
I normally have it up with the gage wheel
In your humble opinion, would the x738 struggle in these conditions? Thanks
I never mowed anything tall with one I can’t tell you on that it should do it but lose a little power
Seeing the X758 was bogging down a bit and blowing some black smoke, probably yes because the X738 is a V-Twin gas engine.
DieselGTGuy Thank you for your reply. I enjoy your vids.👍

Good video. I wonder if they'll ever make an X759. Same as the X739, but with the diesel engine.
Thanks and I don’t think so the x758 been out since 2013
DieselGTGuy oh dang
DieselGTGuy How come you bought the X758 over the X738?
CubBear07 diesel is what I wanted
DieselGTGuy oh nice

@@Drewsadventures00 Okay! does it lift well?

You can see the black smoke when the grass gets thicker. Awesome!

Sirens Of Maryland I don’t see no smoke😂😂
@@Drewsadventures00 its very faint you can see it at 5:37

I love the power steering

to make it look better and i was ask too
How high do you set the scalp wheels on the deck for a 60 HC. For a 3 inch cut? How many empty holes would there be?
i would just pit the deck at 21,75 and make sure the wheels are on the gound

Ngl, did pretty good going at tht speed
PTO keeps running in reverse... How did you do that?
Magic
Bypass the safety switch
I have a x590 with 48” deck, I wonder how fast the 700 series run and is it faster than 590, does anybody do the speed test on the 700 series?
8.5 mph
Oh, so this is how crop circles are made. I always wondered that.
no
Yup most erratic random cutting ever
@@booobtooober and the video still getting views
Rollin coal baby!!🤣

Why don’t you reply back huh.
The John Deers ain't bad, but at the sametime Deer just doesn't make them the way they use to. I'd be happier with a Husqvarna.
A husqvarna will never touch this x758 that thing will not even last as long as the Deere also your frame will brake seen it happen before
I own an TS354XD husky.. my son's X350 mows faster and better...no frame flex either...no comparison. JD 2 TO 1!
Iv a x740 diesel with a 60 inch rear discharge deck it would eat this up
so does the x758 with a 54in deck
