This blokes an absolute legend. My new box had issues, he came out to my car tried everything and when it wouldn’t work he went in and grab me a new box straight away and works perfectly. 👏🏼👏🏼 Check out their new store it’s huge!
What about cleaning the dyneena rope by soaking it to get sand and grit out of it? They do wear out and snap. I'd carry a spare rope when it starts looking old and frayed. Also does the dampener bag need sand or dirt in it to work incase of a line failure?
Help my kings dominator winch just clicks when I press the controls when I put my hand on the solenoid you can feel It clicking any ideas what to look for
I had this same issue. The red cable that went to the winch had no continuity through it but looked fine from the outside, I removed the cable and the heat shrink to find crimped lugs and the cable full of green corrosion at which point the lug fell off. The vehicle has not done any beach work

HI mate, this is so helpful and timely - my winch makes a click sound when i try to winch out but it is able to winch in? I am also unable to change my winch from the activate to disactivated, it seesm to be stuck? Any tips here?
They have troubleshooting guide just for that, I had the same and it was the female pins in the solenoid weren't contacting properly, give them a clean up and test with a paperclip connecting 2 pins at a time, 2 for in and 2 for out
I've been using Domin8r winches as long as we've been making 'em and swear by em mate. If you do like I showed and spool it out and in once a month it'll be a faithful workhorse for ages. Cheers Brenno

Wish i saw this 3 months ago, stopped working after 18 months so i took it out and launched it !
Buying a cheap winch is like buying a 10c condom and then leaving it in your wallet for a year and expecting it to still perform.
