  • Join me on an epic adventure as I take on the challenge of walking the entire Yamanote Line, one of the busiest transit lines in the world with 30 stations and 35km of track! Discover the hidden gems and vibrant culture of Tokyo as we journey through the city on foot. From the bustling city center to the peaceful suburbs, this is an experience you won't want to miss! Watch as we explore Tokyo's iconic landmarks, eat delicious food and encounter unexpected surprises along the way. Trust me, my legs may be sore, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Very surprised that this doesn't have more views because it deserves way more! It's already been 16 years since I've last been to Japan and this video makes me want to return for the first time in a while. Amazing video.

Agree. Maybe a thumbnail or title change. Super helpful for potential hotel neighborhoods.

35km by rail but walking will be further as it's less straight so probably around 40km.Guessing assuming you don't stop too much 10 to 12 hours.

Yea it was a long day of walking. Stopped a few times for short breaks but otherwise it was just a lot of walking

So cool. I just came back from Tokyo. Took my wife and 4 teenage kids. We had a blast. Stayed in a hotel/apartment right next to Asakusabashi station. Used our Suica cards all week as we took the train system all over the place. Tokyo felt much more advanced than my home city of Boston from what I saw. Such nice people. Very well organized and clean city. Train system, including the subways are so clean and safe and very affordable. You're lucky to live in Tokyo. Had I known this before I had married in Boston I would've found a way to move there. Love the content.

Thanks for watching the video. I don't actually live in Tokyo I have just visited lots of times and have spent quite a bit of time there. Currently living in Taipei, Taiwan. Glad you have a good time in Tokyo. It's one of my favorite places in the world

This was so cool! If you don't mind me asking, how did you plot your path?

Hey thanks for watching. I mostly just walked the general direction towards the next station. If I couldnt figure it out I would just put in the next station on google maps

According to my map of the trains in Tokyo, Yurakuchko is the last in terms of the numbering, Tokyo station is number 1. Osaki station is where trains terminate apparently according to Wikipedia
Another great challenge is every subway station in a day
