    You might have mentioned this in another video. One important advice when planning a trip to Japan: Avoid Golden Week lol. And any long public holiday period. And don't feel that you have to book a hotel inside Tokyo to explore the area. I found Yokohama cheaper and it wasn't too bad of a commute. On a previous trip I stayed in Hashimoto near the JR station there, but didn't explore Tokyo. I avoided travelling during the rush hour in the AM and PM as well when I was staying in Yokohama.

    • @NinjaMonkeyguy
      @NinjaMonkeyguy  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep! I mention it ALL the time you are so right about Golden week! .. This video is on the how to rather then when to (Which I have a guide about already) .. In terms of where to stay, do what feels right for you. I think Yokohama can make for a good point to stay but not to be exploring Tokyo though. The commute time eats too much into exploring and if you miss the last train then you are really screwed. It's great if you are only going to be exploring Tokyo in a day or two and using Yokohama for exploring other areas :)

      If your phone allows you, I'd put the mobile IC cards (ICOCA, Suica, Passmo) on it and link them to your mastercard or Apple Card to earn points.

      Google maps should be fine, in terms of IC cards you shouldnt have to worry too much about this and only do so every few days if you plan well

    Hey. Is there any shops/restaurants in Tokyo that have 180 cm tall doorframe? I am very tall. Would be fun to visit a place with small doorframe since most doors have 210cm

    Tokyo is INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE!!! If you like 4 or 5 🌟 hotels. For a week, you're looking at $2k minimum.
