It's what the park officials think happened to the guy.
Normally, a baboon troop will come together to protect their own and fight off predators but these guys were like "We ain't getting into that water with those crocs, you on your own mate" 😂

Their only threat is a hippo but neither crocs and hippos hunt the other, they simply share the same body of water they're in. I would like to see how well crocodiles fare when there's real competition. Put them in the Amazon, and they'll be hunted by jaguars, go toe to toe with anacondas, and get chased down by a gang of giant river otters.

Is there a rule that I don't know about that limits ponds to only one crocodile each? After watching such a virtuoso display of intelligence, I really need to know how did humans manage to become the dominant species on this planet?
