I don't know about lucky? That full-grown warthog casually lying there so close to the water would've known all to well by now, about the likely presence of crocodiles in that water. It saw that Croc coming for a good 2 seconds while looking right at it, and never even bothered to move. No, it just waited for the croc to come into range for a nicely executed head-but with those formidable little horns, that I'm sure it knows exactly how to use most effectively. And understood how ‘that’ was far and away its best option. I think it instinctively knew, that had it turned and tried to run instead, the croc would've likely and fatally caught it. And notice how the croc never tried to go for it again, once the warthog did its head-butt defense. Might have been ripped by one of those horns?
@langston3286 I think they're just like any other predator. You fight back they either adjust or leave their potential prey alone. I haven't seen them back off before when an animal fights back other than a hippo.
Team work between the Warthog and Bird. They have symbiotic relationship. The Bird is protecting it's protector and it's food source (Bugs on Warthog).

Crocodiles come from a different era. They are basically surviving dinosaurs who never suffered the indignity of evolving into avian. They are cold blooded and when their initial attack fails and they get injured, they often go into a survival mode and keep still. There is a video on here of a group of crocs lounging in the water. One of them does the death roll suddenly on a croc right next to it ripping off one of its legs. The injured croc slows down and goes still looking at the croc who did it and doing nothing.
Tumba saw the croc coming and decided to leave Pumba there sun bathing without warning. Tumba said "no pork chops out of me", and walked away casually while Pumba was there stuck. Luckily Pumba had those tusks because his 800hp twin turbo engine was not warmed up to get him out of that mud! LOOOOL!

Pretty sure it’s the other way around, crocs rely on birds to clean their teeth.

To this day the crocodile is still in that position with his mouth wide open and still in absolute disbelief thinking “What the heck just happened?!”

full awareness of the croc's attempt
while his mate was relaxing into the mud.

Those tusks can seriously injure or even kill a lion, leopard or cheetah.

Luckily for the warthog, he came back from afk just in time.
Why not put the camera a little bit up so we can see the elephants, much more interesting!
