- Mike Tindall opens up about his father's Parkinsons' diagnosis and how he has teamed up with the Duchess of Gloucester to make a film all about research into the condition to mark World Parkinsons' Day. Mike also shares what it was like not being able to comfort the Queen who had to sit by herself at Prince Philip's funeral and how lovely it is to see his children grown up closely with their cousin's Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Mike seems like a nice person and grounded in good values. I enjoyed his Rugby podcast with Prince & Princess of Wales and Princess Anne. Wishing Mike’s father all the best. Glad to see Mike’s children bonding with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Mike Tindall is more of a "working royal" than Just H will ever be!! He may not have the title but he works "for the good" of people in so many ways! What a refreshing interview. I'm not rugby fanatic(despite coming from the land of the All Blacks) nor am I mad about horses...but there is something real and relaxed about The Princess Royal'sbranch of the British Royal Family that really appeals.

I agree! I am very close to two of my cousins. I am an only child and I consider them my brother and sister. My son is after the one and the other was my birth coach when I had my first baby.
Same here. I grew up with my large family. Played with my cousins, some I thought were just neighbour kids, there were way too many kids, lol

I'm only just learning about Mr. Tindall. What a loving and gracious gentleman he is. My prayers to his family in their struggles with Parkinson's. Not unlike Sharon's with Ozzy. She too is a strong woman who is a die hard support of her husband and children. Quite different in attitudes of course, but at the heart of it all passionate family support. Then too is Mrs. Fox, she has supported Mr. Fox for 32 years. For a young woman just 3 years into their marriage this is a true pillar of love. How very sad that the world or at least these very ununited States of America are trying to do away with theses sort of women in particular. You know, ones who take please in their families and the Matriarchal support thereof. First it was the non-existence of the Patriarch of the family, now the Matriarch as well. This destruction was done believe it or not with just words. There goes the age old adage of sticks and stones...and in come the pronouns. All I can do is SMH anymore and let the end of the world commence. God bless you all.

I can relate to having time "Out" i helped my Dad with caring for my Mum who has Alzheimers disease and it's not easy let me tell you,my Aunts husband has "parkinsons" she cares for him by herself with occasional family help......Well done for highlighting this cause Mike as these diseases need to have a voice.
Great point about self care. Remember the oxygen airplane story where the parent needs oxygen to ensure their child gets it as well.

He's a proper bloke The Lord. Played rugby against him when he was at QEGS. The Firm needs more people like him.
I was visiting a hotel in Cyprus in 2011 with a group of travel agents on a fam trip. We had just looked at the gym and were making our way to the bar through a door that was being held open by a very helpful gentleman with a beautiful blonde by his side. We all trooped through and it was only when the lady giggled behind her hand that we looked round to see that it was Mike and Zara, who were there on a belated honeymoon. There was several red faced travel agents that day but the royals were lovely.

I loved this, I was actually thinking of the Tindall's and Lucas' birth as my great niece arrived in the same manner this morning on the bathroom floor, it was daddy and the 16 year old son who got a really quick lesson on the facts of life.

the Tindalls, lovely man & lovely couple. Down to earth, ego free, increasingly rare these days. My grandad died with Parkinsons, horrible disease. Can we keep talking about these illnesses, not constant bloody Covid and identity politics.
There is a wonderful medical show on nhk, medical frontiers and I would strongly suggest he contact the host regarding Parkinson’s treatment in Japan. Remember Japan is over 100 million people and they have about 10,000 Covid deaths which to me is a real miracle.
Fingers crossed for new treatments for Parkinson’s sufferers. Family support is so important, pandemic or not . Lol, Isla is a bunny hugger!.😂😂

Love Zara and Mike, there is no doubt the RF are short of feet on the ground. Nothing I'm sure would please people more to see Mike and Zara take on some of the patronages of the Royal Family (however that is achieved) in the field, particularly of Sport. Thanks to Mike and Catherine, Princess of Wales proves that US COMMON folk, know how to behave.

Having known many remarkable people who have fought prigressive desesses from.my own Mother ( MS ) to those with Parkinsins am suprised no mentuin( yet ?) of Micheal Fox who has done so mych toward not only our understanding of it partucually as we see ihis determination AND efforts toward eradicatung
As a member of a large ectended Family of those who do so much in the Charity Field & cannit remember which it is but includes one who Does cover Parkinsons .Am.sure his Mother in Law.kniws a ton about it
