Ben van Dijk - Thein bass- & contrabass trombones "Fragile" - Verhelst

Heavy metal - "Fragile" by Steven Verhelst, here for 2 bass- and 2 contrabass trombones.
During Slide Factory 2017 I was so impressed by the amazing world premiere of this new Verhelst composition played on 4 contrabass trombones by Brandt Attema, Mark Boonstra, Marijn Michgielsen and Rommert Groenhof ( how proud can one be with such amazing former students? ), I wanted to study some contrabass trombone myself again.
I had great fun recording this wonderful challenging work. With the limitations of my home-equipment I decided to play the upper 2 parts on bass trombone to give the piece at least a bit of transparency.
I hope you can enjoy this as much as I enjoyed recording it.

When you are recording these do you have a metronome going on your headphones? When I have tried to record these I always end up struggling to stay with myself if that makes sense.

I have recorded myself conducting so I could keep track of what went where. I also have used a track synchronizing software before. I do all of my recordings and stuff through audacity and have found no issue with it. Sorry for such the late response.Hope this helps
