you don't need to wipe the data.
Just remove the battery for few seconds then insert it again then boot. It works mine

I'm not going to factory data reset my phone every time it restarts. Otherwise I'd be doing it like 6 times a day. It take over 3 hours for me to get all the settings back to normal on the phone alone. NOT including the settings inside each app! I ain't doing that 6 times a day.

Wanna hear a creepy story? I was playing with a ghost detector app when it pick up something so i turned my phone in direction,when out of nowhere it restarted. So then i click app(phone was still facing in that direction) and it restarted again,but this time as soon as the phone came on it restarted again before i could do anything on it so i moved the phone and it stopped restarting(this happened two days ago).Today i was listening to music on blue tooth ear buds when they randomly shut off when i walked by that area the app said the ghost was at.

The phone OS is either corrupt or there's some line of code that causes the phone to restart if the battery is considered old or low charge. There could be a different reason for the rebooting but those are the most likely explanations.

nin6246 I even changed the battery. Same results. Phone wasn't dropped or damaged. I turned off when I go to bed and the next day, logo flashes on and off.

@@heidixiomaraa8163 I fixed it by doing what he said in this video. Main thing. After doing the heating thing. Clean the old paste with rubbing alcohol or surgical spirit and use new thermal paste. I used anabond 652c. And it works very well.

My entire phone froze and it turned off with a blank black screen and then it restarted itself randomly and it went blank screen again and buzzed and restarted itself up. Sooo.... my phone works fine with newly installed Lineage 15.1 on it and rooted. BUT, i can only open recovery mode for 10-15 seconds until it restarts... So, basically I have a recovery mode bootloop. I don't have to fix it, but it makes me stuck with what I have :) I cannot do lengthy procedures from recovery mode because it will probably brick if I flash something and then it restarts again :) What could I do? I did NOT save a backup of my old OS...
