Been looking at getting a cricut for the wife and I and browsing a lot of video channels to see tutorials and what projects it can do. This is one of very few that has no paid promotion which I dislike and even better, no ridiculous music while you narrate. Fantastic! Subscribed and enjoying your great content.
I have a Cricut Joy for over 2 years now because i was just thinking small😊not so successful with cardmaking but cutting out vinyls for names on burlap bags, resin coasters and trays, plushie toys and labels have been my thing…still learning. I never tire watching your videos😊
This is interesting, I am into Resin and I was asking myself if the cricut joy extra will help me with the namings on my crafs. 😊😊 Do I need to print the names first in the ink printer or it can cut them direct. Which paper do you use for the names on resin crafts. I will really appreciate your response to my questions 🙏🏾
I love, love this video. My son and his wife are deciding on which Cricut they will purchase for their 3 daughters Christmas present. And several other family members are going to be buying a Cricut or two this year! I will be sharing this video with them. Plus...I am saving it in my YT files. In order to help myself in showing friends who have recently purchased their Cricut or plan to soon...I decided to make a chart indicating where info can be found in this video! Hopefully it will help a few people: 16:30 Cardstock, Angel light, Candy lollipop holder 19:30 Shadowbox Star Ornament 21:30 Stain Glass Shadow Box (Venture) 24:00 Adhesive Vinyl (Sticky vinyl) 24:30 Let It Snow Charger Plate 26:00 Ceramic mug with cute vinyl face 28:00 Iron-on Vinyl (In the hoop ornaments, Pillow) 30:34 Faux leather earrings 32:00 Stencils (Slate coasters etched) 35:15 Acetate (faux terrarium) 37:00 Foiling (Gift tags, Mandalas) 39:00 Pens and Markers (Labels, Watercolor bird) 44:50 Print then Cut 45:50 Stickers 48:24 Cards (Infinity card) 50:00 Fabric (Bowl Cozy) 54:00 Wood Veneer 57:00 Debossing (Thin gauge metal wreath, purse) 59:15 Engraving (Keychains, Acrylic disc nightlight) Knife blade 1:01:35 Home Sign (Bass wood) 1:14:30 Infusible Ink
I have a maker, because I sew and loved the fact it cut fabrics. My main reason for choosing this machine. I also purchased a joy for my granddaughter. We love these machines💕👍
I originally signed up for my free ticket to the Maker Academy...but after seeing all the projects and presenters/instructors...I purchased the All Access ticket. I have a couple of courses in my Maker Academy files that I had purchased in the past. And I go back time after time and watch the videos on how to make different things for different occasions. Love, love all that the Maker Academy offers! And it's fine to be able to watch them free of course!!
Congratulations on your new Cricut! We have a free series of online classes that show you how to set up and begin creating with your machine as a new Cricut owner! Here's the link to sign up: makeracademy.com/cricutkickoff
Just got a Cricut Explore Air 2 just to do shirts with my heat press and vinyl. I didn’t even know I could do all this!! Now I think ima need full a craft room. 😅
This blows the ones from years ago out of the water. I kind of feel like I really need this in my life, but I also feel like it would just uncover a rabbit hole! There’s just so much you could do and it’s endless. Being that it’s new though, I kind of wanna jump on it now so I can learn as new technology and products come out for it. It’s super exciting. Definitely going to join the group and check it out. Thank you so much. Awesome 🤩 ❤
Hi, my dearest Jennifer, I'm not watching live as I'm from Italy but I'll definitely be logged on for the Maker Academy Weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. Love sent,
I extremely love how you explain everything in detail. It's so useful for beginners. I just started using Cricut Joy & I am so lost but with your videos I was able to learn, practice & implement some of your ideas. Kudos to you & thank you for all the effort you have put in. Thank you once again.
I made the illuminated angel you showed in this video. Your instructions were very clear and I really appreciated the detailed supplies list. The angel looks even better in reality than it looks in your video. They make beautiful gifts. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!
I have my ticket and the VIP Makers Academy pass. I've downloaded the workbook and started making sure I have some of the supplies. I'm very excited. I'm watching replay.

Hi Jennifer I love how you explain projects to do with the cricut machine! I join you maker academy last year love the projects. Can't wait to see what you have going on this year with the projects!
Thank you so much. All I've ever used is the original Cricut & Cricut Expression. I am thinking of switching to Cricut Explorer or Cricut Maker. I am am artisan & sell my products. I design & make jewelry, greeting cards & art. I incorporate the Cricut in all of these things. I need to be able to download items the Cricut which I can't find on the Cricut Cartridges. I know it's quite a step up to go to a Explorer or Maker but then I can create so many more things.
Hi Jennifer, I'm new to your work. I've purchased the explorer 3 machine. I mostly work with frit glass power and love trying to make simple stencils. My goal is to make my own stencils. I'm 75 years old and I'm challenged by the computer. I'm lost when it comes to downloading svg stencils. So I'm going to stay tuned today to see what I can pick up. Thank you for your positive energy. Rocky 😊
Jennifer I love watching you explain the machines. I cant wait till the maker academy I got my ticket. You do awesome work and I love that you share them with us.🥰
Thank you for your wonderful recording on how to get my Laptop out of S Mode. Finally, I've got the real Cricut program on my laptop so I can design things, then plug it into my Cricuit Explore 3. I chose the Explore 3 so that I could make wider designs to cover the front of a T-shirt, and not just create a small pocket size design.
Hi I got my free ticket, looking forward to it. I started using my Cricut 20 plus years ago with the 9” machine, and I am currently working on getting a maker 3.
I have just ordered a Cricut Maker.. I found your videos whilst looking for inspiration on the range of projects I could make..Looking forward to trying some of your projects..😊❤
I'm now at the end of this video. Thanks for taking the time. All the information shared. I'm so excited to get my cricut I'm just waiting to know if the joy xtra can cut felt. I must say though I'm dissapointed that the Joy Xtra didn't come in pink or any other color
The Joy can cut paper thin faux leather. The Cricut brand is the correct thickness. The Maker is the best for cutting felt or fabric as there is a rotary blade made for that machine. You could line the back of the felt with the Heat n Bond to use with the fine point blade. This makes sure that the felt can get a good grip on the mat. jennifermaker.com/cricut-joy-xtra/ jennifermaker.com/cut-fabric-with-cricut-explore-maker/
I have my VIP pass! Looking forward to all the fun crafts. I learned so much last year in Maker Academy 2022. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent.
I Jennifer I have the Cricut joy and the first Explore with the Dial, I am looking into getting the Marker 3 and I would also like to get Cricut Joy Xtra , I also Have the Mini Zen heat Press thanks Tracey
I just got a cricut joy and am trying to figure out how to use design space with it. It’s a bit confusing at this point in time but I am determined to figure it out. I saw there was a design space for the joy but apparently it is going to go away soon so I have to figure out how to navigate what I can and can’t do with the design space for all machines. About engraving, I always have trouble with the placement of the acrylic on my mat to match where my maker 3 will actually do the engraving. Do you have a system of how you determine the placement of the piece you are engraving on the mat to match where the Cricut will engrave? Thank you!

I have and use a 2006 Dino. works great, having a VERY hard time connecting a Maker 3 to an IPad?? Bluetooth is not my friend, going to get and try USB?
Hi Jennifer. Thanks again for your videos and especially your fun and kind heart and attitude. We enjoy your videos. Question (for my daughter who has a Cricut Maker). Currently, she is a Cricut Access Member. She has created a personal project with shapes she put together on her own. One thing that she used was the "Warp Feature" available to Cricut Access Members. Once her membership expires, what will happen to her personal project that she created, but with using the "Access Member Feature "Warp"? Will she be able to make still her project on the Cricut Maker after her Access Expires as the Warp Feature will not be available to her anymore? Thanks for your thoughts. -Scott (and Sarah)

You convinced me to pull the trigger and buy a Cricut and I am loving it. You are my one and only Cricut teacher. You are just incredible Jennifer.
Thanks so much!
She absolutely is! I don't even waste my time watching very many other Cricut, or for that matter, other cutter/laser/craft videos, tutorials, etc.
Do you mean bite the bullet? we don't want you to pull the trigger. haha

I saw there was a design space for the joy but apparently it is going to go away soon so I have to figure out how to navigate what I can and can’t do with the design space for all machines. Hello from Maine
Just received an Explore 3 from my kids for my birthday and can't wait to learn how to use it really well! Viewing videos to figure out how to get started. I have an odd question, why are you wearing 1 black shoe and 1 red shoe?!
They actually are a pair.
Thank you for the great explanation of each Cricut machine! Slowly learning to make stencils for my paintings interesting and useful!!!
Happy to help!
I like your clear demos . .
Thank you!
About engraving, I always have trouble with the placement of the acrylic on my mat to match where my maker 3 will actually do the engraving. Do you have a system of how you determine the placement of the piece you are engraving on the mat to match where the Cricut will engrave? Thank you!

Hello from Montana
Hey from Southeast Alabama! 👋
Love your video. I just got the explore 3. Side question has anyone else noticed the two different shoes?
People ask this a lot. They really are a pair that goes together! 😊
I recently moved back to Michigan from 10 yrs in TX. I am totally back into my crafting. I want to buy a cricut since I loved my old one that I had to sell to move to TX 10 yrs ago. I love ur channel from a fellow michigander! Do u do live workshops?
I did do Cricut Kickoff live and then edited it to be watched at any time. I do lives for special events Like Merry Maker Mingle every December.
I'm so glad I found you. I was so excited them I checked my cricket and it is cricket expressions. Will it work like the rest?
P.S.〰️ I meant Crichton not cricket〰️my brain is out for weekend😜
Unfortunately, I do not have any tutorials or projects for the Expression🥰
Hi from Texas

Hello Jennifer, I hope to become an expert just like you. Thank you for teaching us!!

What about cutting Felt on the joy? I would like to purchase one of these but I'm on a budget I like the Joy and the joy xtra because I have a small space to work with.
The Joy can cut paper thin faux leather. The Cricut brand is the correct thickness. The Maker is the best for cutting felt or fabric as there is a rotary blade made for that machine. This makes sure that the felt can get a good grip on the mat. jennifermaker.com/cricut-joy-xtra/ jennifermaker.com/cut-fabric-with-cricut-explore-maker/
I have a joy and original maker, I plan to get the Joy extra and will give my sister the Joy if I upgrade.
