Well, up to the climax that is. "I am the doctor and I save people! Now I will use sound waves from my magic wand to send you away!". It really is a shame. I was really linking this story, and then it ends with a massive cop-out. The sonic screwdriver... *that* is why john Nathan-turner got rid of it in the 80s! Because it is just an unimaginative deus-ex-machina for any corner that you've written yourself into or any problem that you can't think of a decent and feasible resolution to... 😢
And I don't recall the episode in detail but I THINK he worked out a thing to do which would get rid of them which, as was stated before, used technology other than the Sonic Screwdriver. The Sonic was just the tool he used to trigger it. It wasn't that the Sonic conveniently had a preexisting "Get rid of the Boneless" setting.
Keon Taheri I always liked the one when 11 got asked (I can't remember the episode name, sorry) "You are a medical doctor, aren't you? You don't just have a degree in Cheese-making." and replied that he had both, actually. 😂

+Nicole Song yeah I agree, to me it feels like the 12th Doctor is like a crazy uncle and Clara is like a niece, that is how I always felt their relationship was like in series 8
Now that I think about it, Clara is like a female version of the Eleventh Doctor- which is exactly why they didn't go well together. Amy went better with 11 because she was relatable and had a similar perspective as the viewer. I think Clara and 12 complement each other better because now Clara is the "loud" one and Capaldi is the relatable character. Some of his lines when talking to Davros and in the final moments with the Osgood box show how much emotion he has. I think he took quite a bit of inspiration from Tennant, because now their two doctors are similar in style.
"If the TARDIS were to land with it's true weight, it would fracture the surface of the earth." I mean a TARDIS is literally meant to be state-of-the-art mobile RESEARCH LAB etc by Time Lords' high standards for what qualifies as lab conditions, and it can literally fabricate anything in existence by being 100% self-sustaining (not counting the remote access to the Eye of Harmony that feeds the TARDISes w/ infinite energy remotely across space-time all the way from Gallifrey's own separate Timeline that is artificially separated from the universe's Timeline for security reasons)

Good advice, but in my opinion Matt smith would have ruined this scene as when the Doctor said "Don't you dare" it sounds like a father warning a daughter and capaldi looks like the father type and even has the tone. Matt smith does not so by far Peter had made this scene better.

"Well, cool, because I'm gonna be the reason you need a Doctor next season!"
This episode made me laugh so much, Peter capaldi was great with his mocking hand gestures 😆
please don't do that, that's just wrong
Clara😎: Well I'm usually quite vague about that I think I just picked the title because it makes me sound important...
Doctor😠:why Doctor Oswald you are hilarious.
LOL
Found this video just to hear Capaldi's delivery of "Of lies!" again

Bruised ego
what I love most about the fact that capaldi is a long time doctor who fan is that he probably knew about the TARDIS's true weight long before it was in this episodes script
Special effects for this scene are scarier than the actual monsters!
