- In this video I spend 100 days as the Doctor in Minecraft. I downloaded the Tardis Engineers modpack that added various Doctor Who items to the game. The mod allows you to find and tame a Tardis and then travel the world.

You needed to stand in the middle of the zero room's regeneration pad. It guarantees a safe regeneration without damaging your TARDIS.

I really like the idea of the tardis mod… but man it’s buggy and the mini game of correcting things mid flight is painful. I’m hopeful they do some more development of it.
its usually not this buggy but hes not using it correctly and most of the bugs are caused by other mods
He wouldn't have to do the mini games if he actually use the stabilizers like I do lol

Fun Fact - If you do another 100 days, you can spread Xion Crystals by using an artron pylon in a time rift chunk (use passive probing on the sonic to find one), place 1 artron pylon in the timerift chunk and then place xion 2-15 blocks from it, after a few pewpews from the pylon it should spread to a second piece.

1:02 The creeping angels were OUTSIDE the cave. What a twist!
Reminds me of how the captain died in the movie Alien because the crewmates' scanner displayed the monster horizontally approaching the captain in the vents, and when radioed that, he climbed down to a lower level of the vent system to escape. The scanner didn't show vertical data, so I was surprised when it turned out the captain had moved to the level the alien was on.
they're called weeping angels
It's very in-character for them, too
So, that scene in Saiki K was a reference too. (Mall chase which I remember with Kusuo's brother)

Incase nobody else had mentioned this already, the 'spawner' at 3:56 was actually a "Monster Box" from the mod Quark. They only activate when a player gets nearby and proceeds to spawn a few mobs from itself and then destroy itself. This is why lighting it up didn't work to prevent it from spawning.
I love that his immediate reaction to seeing an angel is to turn around and not look at it
I love how this mod makes the TARDIS seem more like a living thing than just a machine. Just like the show.

Been enjoying this modpack thanks to your video!! But I gotta ask, how on earth do you know how to make portals to escape the dimensions? The Weeping Angels keep blinking me, and I can’t figure out how to escape (without respawning)

Good Video Keep up The Good Work! I have been playing with the same sort of mods in my series and You definitely survived a lot more Weeping Angel encounters then me.
you need to make like a full on series of you just playing survival with this mod, with full length episodes. please.

all u need to do is use the handbreak it prevents the tardis ditching you in locations it doesnt like

if your ever doing a 100 days tardis mod the hardest part wold be the angels

@@KazyMatman I am working on an update of the modpack to release with the 1.19.2 version of the New Tardis Mod once we get it good and stable
The fact that it says "It doesn't work on wood" is such a missed opertunity for them to put that one quote about it being a sonic screwdriver not a regular screwdriver.
They should add tardis flight and better door for tardis(like immediately teleport and better both)

I assumed that you had added the "Timeship doesn't like this location" text in post but realised that it may be part of the mod.
Yeah that's part of the mod. Different ships dislike certain locations. Open or confined spaces for example.
in my opinion, weeping angels are more annoying than scary
you should add some backround music but all in all great

I like watching minecraft playthroughs in this style, but lets be real- is there even a point playing in hardcore, when everytime you die you just cheat yourself back to life? Just sayin'. Good vid though, just feel it'd be m9re fun for yourself and us if you kept it to hard mode, not hardcore ;)

The mod itself is laggy. Mainly when leaving the tardis
@@KazyMatman The doors in this mod are just janky all round. If they could make it function more like the immersive portals mod it would work a lot better. I think they should also make the tardis exterior function more like a block rather than a mob. I'm not a programmer though so I don't know how feasible any of these changes would be. I do think any future doctor who video games should take inspiration from this mod.

I love this modpack, I'll try it as soon as I have the strength to individually download each mod because the modpack creator didn't compile it all into one folder and just put a pdf with links to every mod.
It's designed for automated installation through something like FTB App, not manual download. Also there's no pdf, there's an html file, which is what tells the custom launcher (i.e.: FTB App) what mods to download. Either you didn't download it from the link the video creator provided and Googled it yourself and got it from a sketchy site, or something's not right in some way. (And I know that what I said isn't something they did since you commented, because the last time the pack was updated was last November, longer ago than your comment)

This video felt like watching someone do a school presentation. i think you should try and add some music though out the video, give it more personality. Even change up the way you talk to make the video more exciting. So many points in the video where you don't hear anything and you just walk around or craft. It can make it feel really boring.
