DarkGamer 364 Capcom Warriors would be a fun idea too. They were one of the founding companies of the fighting game craze after all. I can even think of tons of characters too, Mega Man, Ryu, Arthur, Dante, that one guy from Bionic Commando (the NES one, not...THAT one), Zero, somebody from Resident Evil. Maybe even some crossover characters to point out their history of the “Capcom vs” series, like, Iron Man, Captain America, Terry Bogard, Geese Howard. There are just so many options to make that game be interesting and different from other entries, like Mega Man using projectiles and Robot Master weapons, Arthur using his different power ups, Ryu using his insane arsenal of magical fighting moves, Dante...being Dante, the Bionic Commando using his arm and stuff. And there would be way too many options for bosses, Dr Wily, Sigma, a monster from Resident Evil, etc. And there could be a bonus mode where you could play as the bosses, like Ganon’s Fury in Hyrule Warriors. And the upgrades have many options for materials, Mega Man’s Helmet, Mega Man’s Arm Cannon, Zero’s Helmet, Zero’s Lightsaber, Zero Buster, Ryu’s Headband, Ryu’s Gi, Bionic Commando’s Arm, Dante’s Jacket, Resident Evil Monster Parts, Dr Wily’s Machine Parts, Sigma’s Cape, Sigma’s Head Jem, Arthur’s Armor, Terry Bogard’s Hat, Geese Howard’s Gi. And for costumes there could be ZX for Zero, Ryu’s many different gi’s, Arthur’s golden armor, old school Bionic Commando (or the new one depending on which one is the default costume), Terry’s different costumes he’s had throughout his games, Mega Man’s palette swaps, even some miscellaneous costumes shouting out characters that didn’t make the cut. Stages wouldn’t be in any shortage either with all the different places and settings like Dr Wily’s Castles, Central Highway, somewhere from Resident Evil or the Dante games (I haven’t ever gotten around to playing those), the buildings from the old version of Bionic Commando. You should totally remake the Hyrule Field theme now using the new arrangement you gave it in this version!
