- According to Path of Titans, Pycnonemosaurus is literally just Carnotaurus with absolutely no differences other than the name. The name Carnotaurus is more likely to bring in clicks than Pycnonemosaurus, so we're calling it Carno for now, especially since I have an excuse to.

Wish more realism/semi-realism servers would implement the rule of being unable to contest a body you watched be killed, to avoid that exact scenario
@@biohazard9164yeah that is a rule on some of them, because you 1. Lose body protection for healing 2. Waste of time and 3. You might starve before you heal enough to kill something else

Turn radius is better than tail attacks if you are solo. It can allow you to out turn someone who is just turning in place so you can hit them with bonebreak/bleed/raw dmg. That being said tail attacks are much easier to pull off so the skill requirement/risk is much lower, but the reward is also very low.

Imo tail attack is better because some creatures turn better anyways, and you can just get used to the bad turning. Imo tails are hard to master as well because they have to be aimed right or you just give the opponent a free tail hit. Plus going head on is a lot more risky. Just my opinion tho, I play almost always solo and tail helps more.
Honestly charging down your opponent if your an amarga it’s the best option as most things heal faster then you so keeping them from running off to heal is the best move, it’s saved me a few times playing amarga, I just wish amarga wasn’t such a slow walking food truck to apexes, hope it’s gets some new abilities to help it

Even if its inaccurate, I do appreciate the inclusion of different diets for playstyle diversity.
Just wish it had a proper Omnivore diet instead of "scavenger" which basically turns pachy into a full carnivore.

There’s been theories for pachy being omnivorous irl so it’s not far fetched
Tip: Charge attacks don't put you other abilities on cooldown, so if your fast enough if you can combo into your basic attack for extra damage per charge. Its harder to do on Pycno/Pachy bc of charge knockback, but its still worth doing when you can.
Also Headbutt on Pycno doesn't deal as much damage as you'd think, so utilize it specifically as a tool for spacing/hazard kills. Use bite instead for straight dps.

Daspleto is really strong atm. Its better than rex. Not in overall stats, but in doing what rex should do. The damage he does is crazy and he can 4 shot a pycno on default stats with the heavy bite. Additionally, the precise movement of daspleto is really good. It was just that your opponent wasnt really good, he kept doing the heavy bite instead of relying on normal ones. Also, basically every playable is strong if you see it like that, theres just some, like rex, that are too weak. Theres tons of underestimated playables and you should really try them, thats the fun in this game

Rex isn’t weak, it just takes a lot of skill because it sacrifices speed and stamina for damage and hp and such. People think pts rex is better but imo it’s just op. Official rex is very hard to kill if you play it right, PT just made it easy mode for rex players due to the ambush handicap and same with turning. Ambushing in nature has always been a “skill” that must be mastered, not just given for free. Just my opinion though
@@dtbrex08 its always easy if you know how to play it. I have pretty much mastered most of the playables, but rex is way less satisfying to use compared to other apexes like bars. For me, its more about how something feels during combat, not about how good the stats are. Because rex turn is horrible i dont like the way of playing it. I know it deals shit tons of damage, but at the moment, daspleto just is the better tyrannosaurid. It doesnt do more damage, but in the sub apex tier, daspleto is way better than rex in the apex tier. Also i agree, pt rex is simply unfair. No openings to get hits in, since there is no cooldown for bite after bonebreak attacks and the precise movement is way too quick for a creature of this size.

Just happy to see someone playing a non apex, especially something like pycno or alio. Also, I get more worried being approached by a mid tier than I would a rex or eo or something lol. You can escape those at least
Oh if you didnt know headshots do more damage to dinos eccept for trike, you take 2x damage when sleeping and slightly more when sitting(im not sure how much), venom takes stam, and bleed is op. You might already know this but if you dont your welcome.

I really Gotta try Pycno again, my first play through with it didn’t do too well lmao.
My first play didnt go well either, but ever since the Gondwa map released and I played it its awesome, you can solo almost every creature if you play it right.

Btw Pycno and Cera have a passive ability that let's then reflect a tiny amount of damadge onto what ever attacked them
I think its bogus that they of all animals have that, doesnt make sense and they absolutely do not need it, if any carnivores should have that it would make much more sense to be something like conc with that hump
@peabrain6872 The ability is called rough scales and I'm pretty sure and Cera did have tough scales and I think the reflect only works if you hit a Pycno on the head so it does kinda make sense.

The para mod is my favorite it’s the only apex I played that can 1v1 another apex and is ok at defense against small packs but with that said I always fear pycno groups that charge is no joke. Love the videos hope to see more 👍

I love path of titans but I just can't get over the lag it get... Though I've getting good with the Dilo mod recently. Lovely video to watch this might just be the motivational video to get me back on the game.
On pycno I have balanced tail because with it you can out turn most carnivores

Pycno getting a nerf to its hp by 100 as it should. It's too good right now it's so fast, so much stamina, and insane damage and very high heal rate lol. It's not even a glass cannon, it's a freaking glass 50 cal 🙄. Good video though I enjoyed it :)

@@TheOneTruePesky it still will absolutely but now less room for error which is good. For something that can run away from anything at will its good that it's health is super low. Not all pynco players play like you. You fight until the end most of them bully and harass and then run away if they take a little bit of damage

The reason you got hit by the Amargs stomp is because it is one of 3 dinos that now have AOE on their stomp attacks.
I always attack the herbivores as croc in case that makes u feel better

Want to know the best dino in PoT? Cera. ESPECIALLY IN GROUPS. I have slaughtered Spinos, Allos, stole a body from a Sucho, won in a 1v2 against concs, and more. People who say that cera is bad are either bad at playing games, have only faced bad cera players, or don't realize yet that cera can outmaneuver most dinos in the game
TL;DR: Cera is the honey badger of dinosaurs.
I usually have problems with cerato but amarg is actually kinda good at fighting it.

The crocodiles wouldn't be so bad if the players weren't so fuckin cringe. They either go hardcore realism and afk on a beach for 4 irl hours before actively eating ai fish, or they target other carnivores because they all have some bully complex and think the meat eater trying to secure meat is the bad guy.
You probably won't see this, but please tell the people your POT username, they'll do a gamingbeaver fandom and buy the game with you set as the 'recommender' so you can get every super special dino skin

If your gonna play pot a bit more I would suggest you try out the pt rex it’s basically what the official rex should of been, I never really play apexs but it feels really smooth to play and it’s modle and animations are absolutely gorgeous it’s by primordial tyrants but I highly recommend trying it out
People complaining about pot being a pvp game and not a survival game , person plays it as a survival game and they get upset 💀

they were starting to do that in the ptb a few months ago, but tail attacks were so bad so they just gave them back their damage
I also deeply hate when my prey runs into the water
Pyc is even better now because its charge got a damage buff its does 125 damage now instead of 80 or 90
