What's the connector shown at 0:50? I didn't see that connected anywhere in the new unit!
I think it might be connecting to the USB and aux in the glovebox? Not sure...
Can you use the original mounting brackets to securely fasten this kit ?

There’s a connects2 video on this channel that shows the proper installation and this is completely wrong according to that your meant to connect it all to the head unit before power
It is best to go from the unit to the car, but we know a lot of other people will connect whatever way they want (like the guy in this video) - this is why you don't see him too often now, C2

If it is simply the side of the dashboard as seen at 0:17, then all you would need to do is use a bojo tool to lever the clips out of their holders, then give it a firm pull to fully remove

hello, one question my radio is a cinese one. Do I have to cut the head of the harness you provide with the adaptor that go to the radio and connect all the cable matching the same color , with the power cable i found inside the radio package ?

Would this kit work with a kenwood dmx5020s? And would I need to get a steering wheel control retention interface? Would I need anything else like a universal patch lead?
This kit comes with both the SWC interface and universal patch lead. It will also work with the Kenwood.

if your car dose not have screen and you put one it will show the battery stats and everything thats shows in a stock yaris with screen?
