Adam FPV mahindra 485. It's a clone of a International 444. It has decent lights but I'd like to be able to use it as a light stand when working out and about the farm. The loader blocks the head lights. Which leaves just the fender mounted lights really doing anything.

Nice product specifically for DRONES - finally! This have to be a good niche in an aerial filmmaking/cinematography, so good luck guys! I would suggest changing that green DC output connector that goes to LEDs to some kind of gold plated one "banana" like plug, XT30 for instance. These connectors that uses screws are enough for things indoors and stationary. But when there is atmospheric affect and vibrations, they can give you a bad connection. The 12V, 9.5Amp on output that you have is enough to do that. Would directly lead to some flicker effect.
It would be super cool if this could be but in a case that would make it water resistant, and hold a decent run time. Would make hiking out of the cold mountians at night a lot nicer during elk hunting
Hm. Again, I'd make this available to Search and Rescue organizations around the world. Can't imagine how much this would help finding lost people but, this is cool.

Beautiful. How long will it run on... say... a common 3000mAh 20-30c discharge 11.1v lipo battery? Separately, I would love to put these on my truck if they were suitable for off-road abuse and in a nice housing like a KC light or similar.
But you could put the light on your tractors battery, the input voltage of the LED light is rated 11-27,5V. And for protection just cover the light with epoxy

I have two Lume Cubes and I have just ordered one of these modules, so hopefully will be able to do some comparisons. I suspect this will make the Lume Cubes look like glow sticks though :)

@@Snecho PWM isn't analog, PWM is PWM. You could convert PWM to analog with a little filter, but that isn't direct compatability, my question was about direct compatability

Hard to say. Cheap COBs are always evolving, it's a very dynamic industry. The *BigClive* channel is always pulling apart cheap COB LEDs and is often surprised by new discoveries he finds in there.
@MAD GRUMPYMAN high quality 100W LED's are max $15USD, its 2019 not 2010... if you are buying them from USA "brand" companies yes they are as you said $50USD but why not buy them directly from the manufacturers in China? read the feedback and look at the store score and you will know if their LED's are really good or not... also China to USA shipping costs same as USA to USA shipping anyway you will just need to wait a bit longer... reflector is $2USD on aliexpress, cheap heatsink and fan for CPU example costs around $3USD and around $5-10USD for such DC-DC controller... as i said in the beginning $20-30USD all in all...
@@tomrosch8690 Bridgelux is a company that produces their LED's in Chinese OEM company in Shenzhen, and Chinese OEM companies are allowed to sell their products (without the brand) in China but they get away with selling the products globally on Aliexpress... dont ask me how i know this but check as much as you want you will see that i am right... in the end you can get the same LED chip, same quality but without the brand name 1/4 od less of the price if you know where and how to look for it...

The math says about 21 minutes, but probably less. 100W/12v = 8.3A, 3Ah/8.3A = .36hr * 60min = 21 minutes.

@@robmckennie4203 you would need some complicated circuitry, because in a pwm reciever, the duty cycle is very low - 1-2 ms on time, 50-150ms off time
