I agree with your Marylynn Manson reference. Visually stunning and sonically haunting like old Manson, NIN, and Ministry. Chelsea is today's GOTH goddess despite doing this for years. Besides checking out her solo musical rabbit hole, her works with Emma Ruth Rundle and side project Mrs. Piss are fan-friggin-tastic.
16 Psyche is probably her most "radio friendly" song, still very good. Carrion Flowers is a hard gothic industrial experience. Mer is soft and musical with a lot of symbolism.
Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and say, I'm probably the biggest Chelsea Wolfe fan you're likely to meet in your life; I have most of her albums (and, I am searching for reactions to her music, after all). She is amazing, and the fact that you mentioned Manson...? Perfect. I've been thinking the same thing for years, dreaming of a duo of Chelsea and Marilyn - that would be EPIC. Anyways, two of my favorites by her (there are many favorites), are "Carrion Flowers" which is heavy-ish like this one, and then "Maw" which is softer but very deep lyrically. Anyways, please check her out when you can, because she's got so much great stuff, and even good live stuff, too. If I could marry a female vocalist's voice... Chelsea Wolfe's.
Dude, I'm watching this while wearing a Chelsea Wolfe Apokalypsis sweater and sipping tea. Unless you weigh more than 240 lbs, you may not be the biggest. ;)
It's nice to see that your introduction to Chelsea Wolfe just so happens to be on her Birthday...I think she's amazing, especially live...there are already some good suggestions in the comments, but if you'd like to see something live from her, Dragged Out, Survive or Spun, from Oya Festival
Chelsea is an absolute Queen and my absolute favorite female artist! She’s been making music since at least 2010 and her first few albums, The Grime and the Glow and Apokalypsis were pretty raw and kind of folk-like and then she got a little darker and more industrial with her album Pain is Beauty and Abyss, and then on Hiss Spun she keeps that industrial and electronic feel and adds a little more guitar and metal aspects. Then on Birth of Violence, there is a lot of acoustic songs, and then on this latest album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, she went back to the dark industrial and electronic sounds. But all of her albums are amazing! I have to see her at least once!
Virginia under water, cousins of the antichrist, Moses, fang, American darkness, tunnel lights(new), tall bodies/pale on pale(swan studios live recording version), friedrichshain…and many more lol
cool choice! and supercool reaction!!! I didn't know you before but now I like you a lot. I like Chelsea Wolfe since 2012. Saw her live in Berlin in 2012 and now again in 2024. In June, bought my tickets. The new album was produced by David Sitek ("TV on the radio") but it is still pretty much her album, she evolves a lot from album to album. As far as I know she is now 40, got sober after drinking for decades, got out from a toxic relationship, believes in witchcraft. Her new album is mindblowing, so let's react to "Everything turns blue" or "Tunnel lights" if you haven't listened to her album already. Thumbs up, I subscribe.

I like Movie Screen, and Track (tall bodies). Just some of her earlier stuff, she also does a great cover of Black Spell of Death by Burzum.

A song that seems mostly forgotten that Chelsea Wolfe was part of and is well worth checking: Life took you for a Freq. by Sort Sol ft. Chelsea Wolfe
