Drivers tackle flood water in Gloucestershire as Tewkesbury nearly cut off

Footage of motorists tackling floods in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, this morning (January 4). On the main route into town, the A438, several drivers became stranded and had to be rescued before police closed the road. At one point, during rush hour, it was reported that only a minor road through the Priors Park housing estate was open to access the town with all other major routes hit by floods. The flood comes off the back of Storm Henk which has hit the UK in recent days.
