Hi Alex, I want to buy laser packer 4, I am buying it for laser engraving watches based on customer demand. 1. Will laser engraving damage quartz watch (the battery or the mechanism) from heat? 2. What settings I can use for ultimate precision and accuracy? 3. What other brands would be better for this kind of tasks? thank you
Im in the process of building my own laser cutter and i am sort of confused whether i should use a ruida or a trocen controller. everybody else on here building their own opt for ruida but i cant see what are the major differences between these two. im thinking going for trocen since they are alot cheaper (about half the price of a ruida) but im afraid if im going to regret it on the long run. I am a full time carpenter making furniture and cabinets but since i broke my elbow about 5 months ago i dont think i could do lots of heavy work like i used to. so my plan is to have a laser cutter for a side hustle and maybe incorporate with my woodworking stuff. so in my situation what do you reckon i go with? a trocen or a ruida? Thanks
For 99% of users I don't think it much matters. Ruida has ever so slightly better compatibility with LightBurn but is missing things on all but it's newest most expensive controllers like a dedicated rotary axis control. Pick the one that fits your budget and has the user interface you find most intuitive. They are VERY similar products.

@@LaserEverything i see, trocen for me it is then. Thanks alot for your advice !
It seems to me it would be nice to eliminate the double image on the monitor before reviewing the controller.
It's not a double image, it's how scanning offset adjustment appears on DSP controllers. Pretty common.
I'm fairly certain the password is the model number, 7813
