@@Piggycente That is a fantastic question, I am still trying to remember the name of it because of how useless my saved video playlist is, casually removing this song seemingly everytime.
Honestly that if clarinet solo had gone to the Bass clarinet or if it had been a bass and soprano clarinet duet it wouldve been a bit better, just to kinda match the darker tone of the trumpet solo before it
Actually, I like it quite a bit more. I believe the composer was trying to switch from a more dark tone to a light tone to transition back into everyone playing again.
Great arrangement but wheres the brass! You hear the trumpet solo, but only barely, you need 2/3 the ammount of brass and percussion dynamic sound to woodwind :P even put the microphone to the right of the stage... also a tango is a very dramatic peice its sposed to tell a tale, the articulation of the notes just needs a little more UMPH in there. Coming in at the start they just sound like notes, let the music tell you a story and take you on an adventure, nice job thoe on this piece you guys did a good job.
Well ina tango the winds are always gonna have the melody and the top brass so trumpet and maybe horn, the other brass instruments and the lower woodwinds are just chord changes and that it that's usually how it is
Yah, that was bizzare. And nothing about this was quite tango-esque. And I found out why when I heard the original. Safe to say that nothing with an accordion is going to equal a tango.
Love the odd nearly jazzy circus melody, and then the really pretty waltz. Also love the background at the ends of the measures.
Piazzolla !! Mama Mia, Love the arrangement Perfect !
I love it!! ❤❤

Best trumpet solo
ColoC flugalhorn actually :P
