Hazell Dean and Michael Prince - Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go)/Dance Your Love Away

Looking for a follow-up to the highly successful Searchin' (produced by Ian Anthony Stephens), Stock Aitken and Waterman suggested a remake of a track they'd recorded with Michael Prince. Hazell didn't much like the chorus of "Dance Your Love Away" so a new chorus was written along with new lyrics for the whole song and Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go) was born. It gave SAW their first UK Top 10 hit in 1984.

I love that you did this mashup! I actually love both songs. I always thought that Dance Your Love Away would have been excellent for Dead or Alive. I could totally hear Pete Burns singing it in my head.

I loved that early SAW work when it had a harder edge. I made this to illustrate how WID(WIG) developed. Glad you like it.
