Hi, Seen some of your videos which are great. I recently moved an excel file from old computer to new one and few Excel files have a padlock symbol and unable to open it. I get the message " excel cannot access : read-only or encrypted : ( its password protected and I know the password ). Would appreciate any help .. Thanks
Taken me a while to get to this I'm afraid, but I can't think of any reason this would happen other than a difference caused by the operating system. I've never seen this issue before so not much help.
@@Up4Excel Thanks. Yes , I had saved these files in windows11. The system crashed and i had to install windows 10 and then upgrade to windows 11 . Since then I have this problem for few files

@@aravazhi3717 I suspect that's the issue then. If I here of anyone else with a solution I'll pass it on.
