The Pat Tillman award is to honor an American soldier who fought and died for his country. Why would you give an award to a British Commonwealth citizen who has really never distinguished himself for anything on his own without the support and direction of the British monarchy?
I'll always think of what terrible heartache (and that's an understatement) Mary Tillman had to endure on hearing of her son's death but she still fought against the machine and won. I hope she feels all the love and admiration winging it's way to her now. I'm just in awe of that lovely lady.

He shows up to act as a cheerleader & whoop it up! The BRF organized the invictus games, modeled after the AMERICAN Warrior games, which I believe was fashioned after the Special Olympics started by our American Shiver family.
Does anyone think PH works to organize the food needed for all the participants & their families or caretakers, the transportation, food, locations, hotels, stand by first aid available for everyone there? How much did "TOW" get paid in ugly expensive clothes, high end hotel, private jet to go to Vancouver to check for future invictus games?

Invictus games he was just a figurehead, he didn’t even have the original idea if you research it, and there is a board that does everything he’s just literally a name at the top of it. This has nothing to do with the USA or our athletics, less being a veteran he is not a veteran of the USA! This is simply all about trying to save is behind, at a time when his visa application is being called into question, and he is missing vital evidence for which the judge has demanded.
That award has been bought and paid for. The check has been cashed and ESPN isn't going to give the money back just because Harry decides to refuse it. Not that Megain would let him.

I am an American combat veteran (from AZ so I’m a fan Pat Tillman)
I most certainly have NOT done anything to deserve an award like this (much like Prince Harry 😆) But I served with a ton of guys who went onto to do for organizations who serve the veteran community. I know of one in particular that helps Veterans get off the street and helps them get into rehab. I also have a number of vet friends who went on to serve in different branches of law enforcement and continue to serve and protect every day. People like that would be much more deserving of this award so if ESPN wants to contact me, I’d be happy to give them a list of names of Veterans who are MUCH more deserving than an ex-prince who now does nothing with his time but BUY awards so his wife can shove her face in front of yet another camera.
I would add to Mary Tillman's criticism that Pat Tillman fought for American values. Meanwhile, Harry thinks our First Amendment is bonkers, criticizes our Second Amendment rights, and generally seems to lack appreciation for our core values.
And his feverishly working and joining organizations against against our freedoms

If they felt they wanted to recognize a celebrity why not Gary Sinise , the actor who played Lieutenant Dan in Forest Gump. He has dedicated his life to helping veterans, behind the scenes, and doesn’t look for praise or recognition just does it from his heart. He is an AMERICAN who truly deserves to be recognized. ❤

Let’s not forget the ultimate sin Harry committed when he bragged about the number of kills while in battle. As well as his disgusting names he used in reference to the soldiers he was shooting. This is the ultimate example of the disdain he has for humanity. My son died a few years after his service in Iraq. He was with the first boots on Iraqi soil. A few years after discharge he began having neurological attacks and was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The VA claimed it a battle acquired death from Chemical exposure. He transitioned 5 years after his first neurological attack. He told me that veterans that truly were in the throes of battle never talked about it but those that sat back and watched talked about it all the time. My heart goes out to Mary Tillman who is in this club of mothers that have lost a child never wants to be a part of.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Your son was a hero. 🙏🇨🇦
