The lag on pin kick is too risky to go for in that situation and immediately puts Corrin in a loop for 40+% damage or the loss of a stock.
I really like the nature of your tips here. It offers something outside the typical "use X combo at Y percent." Steve's abilities are so unique from the rest of the roster that it's nice to have an analysis which actually acknowledges that by slowing down and brainstorming how to utilize his kit. Nice video.
I kinda wish the bow had a spot in Steve’s set. I don’t know where it would go, but I still feel like it deserves a spot. It would also be cool if his Final Smash had something to do with Netherite. I really like how well the current move set is made, but I guess this would be like my “Dream” move set (see what I did there?)
I'm surprised you didn't go over using block placement for combo extension. If you can nail using blocks to extend combos, you can rack up damage at an insane rate.
You didn't go over perfect short hop builds. Helps you build vertically faster. And you are already standing in neutral on the block as soon as its built.

Why not start one block right above the ground? It forces tall characters to jump over while letting steve use options like d-tilt and cart above and below. How about the same two block vertical sandwich setup but one block higher? This would be easier on stages when you're on ledge or knocked to the air or running away above. In fact, you can do a three block long pseudo-ledge two blocks high. That forces them to either go high or low. There's little room for tall characters to go under so it's risky for them to go under, but going over is time consuming, The short characters have little room to double jump and if they do that to escape landing, they can be juggled and forced to unsafely airdodge which would lead them into being punishes more. And if they goes above speedily, they might just get hit by steve as a mixup, or have to approach right above air which is already default disadvantage state, letting steve. I don't even have the time to mention all the ways Steve can use anvil, clever block placements, and his Up-b to speedily maneuver everywhere on the stage

use the spaced tnt, grab when they try to jump, hit them like twice, and then down smash. it triggers the tnt, but if you space it right it hits them and not you
Not fully part of block placement in neutral, but kinda: the 0 to death shield break push to ledge anvil grab offstage release mid air and recover back to stage combo setup. Is there a benefit to jumping and buffering tnt and then immediately placing a block to cover up the tnt? I think it could be used to catch the opponent off guard because it is completely hidden from the opponent by the block until it starts flashing and when you first place it ( about 13 - 15 frames between the start up of tnt and placing the block )

Okay Dabuz, you might think you're a great Steve player, but you really don't know the most powerful and basic tech the character has: TDDoD, or "The Dirt Dick of Disrespect". It's a very advanced Steve tech, though learning it will enhance your Steve gameplay by 1000 percent.

If there is a block right above the ground without one below it, it vanishes as soon as someone runs through it.
