This is one of those classic "there is no right answer" dilemmas, that ME does so well. Brainwashing or killing an entire species are both morally difficult choices. Ultimately, you have to ask yourself which is the lesser of the two evils and, regardless of any in-game consequences, which decision you can live with personally. Love that this mission does that!
The geth sections are very interesting now that Legion actually gives some real insight on them. I'm excited to watch the conclusion of this long journey!
I know I said before that you can do Arrival whenever, but yeah, doing it after "finishing" the game kind of makes sense narratively. I just like to do everything before finishing the game. Also I want to see you do the endgame (;
So begins the final phases of ME2, I look forward to the next two. You know we've been spoiled with long episodes when I see 46 minutes and think "oh a shorter one" at first.
The fact that they used this medium to not only make me think but to question my preconceived notion’s and see new perspectives makes this more than a game for me, it’s a work of art. Thanks for the upload and looking forward to next.
Ren!!!🤩🤩So good to see you! Legion is a bit of a oddball but I completely agree on giving him and the rest a chance👍My first play I remember not trusting him but he did start to grow on me after a while. Awesome play as always Ren thanks so much!🥰
Legion is one of my Favorites, wspecially how he addresses Shepherd as Shepherd Commander. So, on your next play through, try eradicating and seeing how it affects ME 3. It was still a great mission and video. Cant wait for the next!! ^_^
On a first time blind playthrough, Arrival is best played as a post credits mission. On subsequent replays you can do it earlier just to get any dialogue changes. Don't know if you have gone on to ME3 yet, but be aware that there are charges to the game mechanics. No where near as many as between 1 and 2, but there is a small learning curve.
Well, you can have Legion for Tali's mission, if you wait to do Tali's mission until after you recruit Legion. Legion is definitely a they since they use "we" as their first person pronoun. If you don't see geth / AI (like EDI) as life equivalent to organic life then deactivating (you can't "kill" what is not truly alive) all heretics is a morally trivial action. If you do see geth / AI (like EDI) as life equivalent to organic life then both killing and re-writing is morally problematic, however one should generally err on the side of not massacring millions of lives when seeking to resolve a problem. I think of re-writing the heretics as deprogramming people you've rescued from a cult, just done at light speed.
Hi my friends!! Enjoy the first of the last three videos of ME2

Taking Legion on Tali's mission is pretty hilarious.

The decision of rewriting or killing the Geth...well I've completed a lot of playthroughs of the trilogy and have of course tested both options.
Geth don't believe in windows... but they sure do keep a lot of medkits around for some reason.

Oh, the "mission" now is to just go somewhere. Citadel, Liara, whatever. I think you can just choose somewhere on the map.

I really want to say/suggest/warn more, but all I'll say is DO A MANUAL SAVE before the next mission. Also after it.
I just blew through 3 years of mass effect videos in like a week...What do I do with myself now
and she disappeared again....
