- I totally unexpected how much of a difference that this wrapping job would effect the aesthetics of my Sierra! It gives off such a sleek look to the truck. Try it for yourself!

Many Blessings.
You can remove the door sweeps easily. And if you roll your windows down you can push the gaskets away a little so you can tuck under them. I did this on my 2005 300c. The pillars were faded and it was killing the vibe on my baby.
Great job buddy we have to learn some how, and you did it great 👍🏼
Thanks man! I’m all for learning new skills and having that trial-&-error type mentality. Thanks for sub!
Been wanting to do this on my 17 Silverado and I’m definitely doing it now 💪🏻🔥 sick build bro
That’s awesome bro, glad I could help! And I appreciate you!
Doing this today on my 17 silverado, how did it go
Still looks great bro
I’m looking to do this to my 2018 Silverado 3500HD soon. It looks sooooo much cleaner with the pillars blacked out.
I agree. I've loved it ever since I did this mod and I've also noticed a lot of other people think the same lol
@@hunterrwiilson Your right it absolutely changes the entire look of the truck. I’ve ordered my two kits and they’ll be here Friday THANKS to your Amazon link. Stay blessed!!!!!!!!!!!
@@shaunhuckabee5904 many blessings to you brotha, may Christ be with you.
For a novice, you did great. Wrapping is not as easy as people think. I'm looking to wrap the pillars on my 09 Maxima with the Carbon fiber print. I think it would look good against the silver paint. Good job!
Great video man I been trying to do this for a while on my jeep !!!!
Thanks brother!
Looks so much better
Looks great
The wrapper game chose him
Looks good, im doing my titan.
Great video bro‼️💪🫡
Much appreciated!
Has it held up? My car has matte black trim on the door pillars, I feel like a gloss black would look better with my tints plus I feel like it’s starting to fade so I thought about doing this.
It’s lasted very well, 3M is known for quality. Obviously from wear and washes it’s got like the tiniest of micro scratches but you can’t really tell unless you’re like me and look for any imperfection lol.
what color did you use on your truck, white like black ... or the jom of the products
or the name of the products
try wrapping around to the back glass. Make the top look free floating.
I really thought about that Sarah, but if you look at the body line below the window at 6:39, I've seen other trucks with that full wrap-around and I have to say I ain't much of a fan :( If the body didn't curve up like that then I would have totally wrapped those sections too! It's just the fact that the wrap would start below the window and, to me, it just isn't as clean. You see what I'm saying?
Floating top look came standard on the first generation Dodge Intrepid. Haven't really seen that style since then. Where only the A pillars were painted only. And I have to agree it wouldn't look right on the GMC. Looks with the B pillars being black.
Next time use a tuck tool to tuck in the edges for a cleaner look.
I think I have one now, with one of my trim removal tools, will definitely do that next time!
good thing you "went ahead" and did everything (about 40 times)
Just like I went ahead and responded to your comment
OMG me and my friend Joanna are HUGE fans🤩🤩🤩
I'd hope so!
Omg me too🤭☺️
I want to do the B pillers thanks for the video
Where did you tuck the vinyl on the inside of the front door ? Just tucked it behind?
Yes exactly! Just slice the vinyl down the middle and tuck the vinyl right behind the window pillar.
What material did u use and is it or what is the best product to use?
I used a 3M wrap and it’s the best I’ve seen from the reviews. It has held up to its quality from my experience with it.
@@hunterrwiilson with a gloss finish.
@@Fishcave yes
what vinyl did you use
I think it was 3M, should be linked in the description!
We’re did you get the wrap!
Amazon! The link is in the description!
What shade tint you have?
I have 15% all around, on top of the factory tint, along with the brow
What wrap did you use?
It was 3M. It’s linked in the description if you want the exact one I used!
Maybe try using some knifeless tape next time! Should make it much easier and cleaner in the end. 👍🏻
I definitely should’ve done that, but we live and we learn right?! Thanks for the advice
What tires are on the truck
Toyo Open Country R/T 285/60/20
Doing this on my XJ
Where you get the it
I have a link in the description for you to access the wrap
@@hunterrwiilson thanks
I can promise you one thing it aint gonna last more than a couple years most of this final wrap is not very good even if you use a good brand if you're going to wrap it you should use something with high UV protect infinite something of really good quality otherwise you will just be pulling this off a year and a 1/2 to 2 years later I've tried 3 different vinyls and had the same trouble with all of them whatever the dealership uses is a lot more resilient
Nobody will know except you. Most people don’t believe I wrapped my hood and think it was done professionally
Exactly. We aren’t wrapping anything for SEMA here anyways lol
Good job BTW!
@@geneirvine9710 Thanks!
Thanks for this! You convinced me not to try this!
U should tint the fronts the same as the back
Been thinking about it, tbh idk if those tickets are worth it tho 🥴
