a little correction though on the tidbit about coquette and lolita fashion,, those two styles actually have little relation aside from hyper-femininity and the usage of bows and such, with lolita being more over-the-top of course.
it’s also a huge misconception that lolita fashion is inspired by the book/movies, i’d honestly say that coquette is closer to that than lolita fashion. it’s true that lolita takes a lot from the victorian and rococo eras tho!!

THIS WAS SO GREAT!! Depending on the day, my style fluctuates between (1) Acubi/Apocalypic (2) Femme Fatale (3) Cottage Core with smatterings of Goth elements. And here and there, I *aspire* to rock Downtown Girl / NYC Girl; I just think that look is so casually cool. I never really had names for my styles until today. Thanks for that! Now I know what to type into Pinterest to build my capsule wardrobes.
