I used to work at Chickfla, and something that you can do is that kids can trade in their toys for ice cream cones if they want. Most kids I served did that option instead of having the toy, and you don’t even have to pay extra. Is basically a free ice cream.
You dont need a certain amount of toys to trade for an ice cream cone/cup. However many toys you have, you can trade in for that many ice cream cups/cones.

Which is silly considering we have this funny thing called school that's supposed to be teaching kids those things, though I see why they need it in kid's meals now, since schools are failing at that.

In 2004, I remember getting a toy from McDonald's that was an actual Hot wheel with underglow and a whole ass section of track. One could argue there was never any quality but somehow that quality went down.
I used to work at Chipotle and nobody ever bought the kids meal or even really knew of its existence so those chocolate milks sat in the back for WAAAY longer than they probably should, and they're "shelf stable" too, so they're just sitting on the shelf next to the boxes. I think part of the reason there’s a lack of toys is because Hollywood doesn’t make as many movies made for kids anymore. It feels like almost everything coming out these days is at least PG-13+, so there’s not that many movies for fast food places to do partnerships for toys with. I remember McDonald’s always updated their toys pretty frequently when I was a kid, and they usually had something to do with a movie or tv show.
Or the fact that kids have tables and phones in their faces and legit don’t play with toys anymore. Plus gaming consoles. The early 2000s/2010s was the last of the golden years
Trust me there’s A LOT of entertainment directed towards kids, including movies and animated shows. They’re mostly in streaming platforms or on TH-cam. Every time I hang out with my nephews they’re always into some new franchise I’ve never heard of

Best Happy Meal ever was the different Matoran from Bionicle. I told my dad i needed all 6 for my collection amd he took me probably 10 times in a week to make sure we got them all.
YESSSS
I'm not the only one who finds it hilarious that Matt mistakes fireman for "Flame Daddy" right?
26:46
No. Apparently, the other people who were present in the video found it to be hilarious. You didn’t hear them laughing?
No. The others who were actively watching said video had also found it humorous, did you not realize?
Negative, the accompanying persons in the room at the particular time also found it rather comedic. Are you hard of hearing?
deaf ahh
Mat is the biggest yes man a yes man could possibly be 😭
so happy Matts got a tier list of his own now. how far hes come fr
There’s a zillion new kids movies the problem is they’re all straight to streaming
Every time I hang out with my nephews they’re always into some new franchise I’ve never heard of
It's because kids are no longer kids they're Internet gremlins. I'm only 30 and I feel like the kids these days are farrrrr more advances
@@starseed3203we are older than Google and I'm only 30 lol
10:54 when Charlie brings up the golden cards that McDonald's used to release I had a golden charizard exactly like that and I don't know where that is it pisses me off that I lost something that was so cool this video just reminded me of that and I didn't even know it was from McDonald's till now.
26:24 the amount of times I burst out laughing in this vod was too high to count 😂 thank you ☺️ worth it
I remember when Chick-fil-a gave out comic books in their kids meals about cows getting super powers and they were cool as hell
8:38 just realized charlie is wearing a roblox hat
Culver’s kids cheeseburger meal is an S tier meal to this day. The free scoop is a blessing.
Honestly a great video and rant
23:59 they really went ahead and 'Lady and the Tramp'd that fish fillet...
Not enough soap in the world to clean that image out of my brain 😅
The hats they're wearing sells this so hard
The best Maccas toy was either the Spykids ones which joined together to make the bug OR the Sonic the Hedgehog handheld games.
I know it was just a bit. But they also genuinely seemed to have more fun with the orange in a cup vs all the other toys.😂
Professional kids meal enjoyers know chockey milk is a make or break item.
27:22 the way he reacted to that thing like it was a shot
10:38 Wendy’s toys use to be goated when I was little I remember putting together a dinosaur
What’s more disappointing than some of these happy meals, is the fact we never got one of Matt’s jokes for free
I remember the Happy Meal promotion they did for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I think I still have either the Anakin toy or the Ventress toy laying around in my house somewhere.
McDonalds at the start, twitter isnt gonna be chill for the next week now 😭
0:24 that hat is 🔥
Culver's kids meal was s tier back when i had it. Corn dog, ice cream tickets for a free scoop, and cheese curds.
Really upset, no kids were eaten in the video!! :(
6:00 Okay, maybe IF BK actually started building play areas en mass, then we'd believe them.
You should do a tier list on some cheese cakes. I had a homemade one with strawberry syrup and diced strawberries on top. It wasn't as sweet as I thought but it would be amazing.
YESS LETSGO ITS EXACLTY WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR
Finally! Charlie created liquid ladder tailored to me as a toddler mom. I have now expanded my fast food kids meal repertoire.
