** Designed in Italy, Developed in Spain, Built in China. MBP's BIG cruiser packs a big punch but is it hard hitting? Let me know your thoughts.

It's an overly choked intake and exhaust.
It robs tons of power, and causes a considerable lag in throttle response.
It's blowing my mind how good your review is!?🤯
Just seen one with under 1000 miles for around 7k ish, very tempting indeed.
I love the features and technology but the engine is whining and the exhaust sound does not fit the amazing look.
Loved the bike and also loved your review and commentary, much more informative than other bike video's I've seen. Excellent job mate !
Those cans must go!
An issue with US buyers would be the availability of aftermarket parts. I don’t know if this brand is even available here, but they would be wise to stock up on accessories. That is the part of owning cruisers that will let them down if they’re not prepared. Few US cruiser owner leave their bikes stock for very long. Harley and Indian probably make as much or more on accessories than on actual bike sales.
First time I’ve found your channel, enjoyed the review nice style thank you.
I would.
Not a cruiser fan but this looks good. And, it has a decent front mudguard. A little less black and more chrome would be nice.
Nice bike and seems good value. The massive tyres will be pricey though. I still prefer my Guzzi V9 Roamer for looks though.
What's not to like? Triple disc brakes with ABS and a goodly sized fuel tank are excellent to have! I don't mind a relatively quiet exhaust as listening to a loud set of pipes on a ride sucks after a few minutes of it. A tiny tank cruiser is a waste of my time and this bike has a tank capable of taking you further than to the petrol pumps and back home. YES! The backlit controls are a nice touch too!
I personally do not care much for the mono-chrome instrumentation and have been that way since the '82 920 Virago, which honestly looked better than does this bike's setup. Here in the bowels of Commiefornia USA we do not (yet?) have a dealer (that I am aware of) but we do have CFMoto dealers and I have met a few very happy owners of that marque. These Chinese motorbikes should be thought of in the same vein as when the Japanese first came to our shores in that they are very AFFORDABLE and not junque (note cool high-brow spelling!). I do not know a thing about this brand but it appears well made and I know that the aforementioned CFMoto owners I spoke with were very pleased with their rides.
Is there a risk involved in buying Chinese? Certainly. But there is a risk to buying anything even Japanese, Austrian, Italian, Indian (both India the country and Indian the marque!) and HD. If it turns out you don't like your ride you are going to lose your buttocks selling it. In the long run, any bike is going to depreciate so I buy with long term ownership in mind. Given the current financial zeitgeist/climate nothing is holding its value. Not Harley. Not Honda. Not Guzzi....Not kidding. A motorbike isn't an investment in anything but yourself. Look into the total cost of ownership, i.e., maintenance, fuel economy, initial price, tires, insurance and anything else you might encounter.
Few folks look into the frequency and cost of valve checks/adjustments. Don't be surprised, find out ahead of time. Nothing sours riding a bike when you're counting down the miles to a costly valve check that happen every 3,500 or so miles. Look ahead because hindsight is only 20/20 if you don't have your head up your butt! The best part stying-wise is it isn't another Japanese HD ripoff. Kawacopys and Yamaha Starleys be damned, LOL!
Excellent review, sir! Thank you so very much!
SS
I believe it is/has a full colour TFT dash - the reviewers camera wasn't doing a great job of showing that fact. At times you could see the rev counter showing green as it climbed up and down. The manufacturers website states it is colour.
21:49 best not to get too carried away on the right hand turn or bend, cos I'll bet those huge cans could hit tarmac 😊
28:46 only issue with this is that for the cost you can certainly get a kawasaki vulcan 1700 for much less and certainly much more bike, granted that's 2nd hand, but still a great buy 🤷🏻♂️
Oh man I love the look of this bike but at 70 mph it sounds like a 300cc single?? Sounds loverly on tick over though..
Love it
Glad you explained that MBP moniker. Does seem a stunning package. Admittedly slight hesitation over the Chinese link, but far better to engage than not
Good looking bike. Did you mention service intervals and I missed it, or is there any info about that?
What a beast of a motorcycle 🤟 I think it suits you Mark!
Certainly looks good.
10:39 surprised they didn't go TFT on the screen considering the nine and a half grand ticket
That's a great looking bike
Nice bike, can’t wait for your review of the SWM stormbreaker V1200.
Nearest dealer in a good 2-3 hours away though and I don't know who the importer is now. Is there a new one since 3cross closed a few years ago?
Mr Motors for the Masses.
can you say = I never broke the law! I AM THE LAW! 😛
When you first mentioned the 'back light' I thought you meant a switch to turn on the rear light cluster.
Another rival would be perhaps a 2nd hand Diavel.
Or my 1977 Ducati GTS. Smoother engine and waaaay better sound.
Didn't Yamaha make the fs1e?
Very interesting deets about the company. It's a very desirable machine, it'll be interesting to see reports from long term owners about its serviceability.
Nice review. 👍
Yes, Yamaha, which is why I put the text up as I mistakenly said Honda.
@motorsforthemasses soz... didn't see that. 🙂
It looks like a Livewire and an Indian Scout had a baby.
Nooo.. I thought we had lost the self indulgent 3 minute long intro! Lol. Great vid all the same.. Keep em coming.. Maybe a benelli trk 702x? I would love to see your opinion. Take care
Coming soon
@@motorsforthemasses fantastic.. Looking forward to seeing that.
Side mounted small number plate, and exhaust needs sorting , then I'd be interested ❤
Is it available in the U.S.?
Love these new chinese bikes but just remember where are all the chinese scooters from the 2000s
Hi mark do you still have your motorcycle shop just only not seen you there for a long time
Not since July last year
Good video but I think the intro could do with cutting in half!
Sebuah motosikal yg menarik dan cantik tetapi tidak dijual di Malaysia
5.8 gallon fuel tank.... should be @ least a 200 mile range.
Why not sold in the US?
Would you please confirm this is a belt drive and not the old fashioned sticky and mesdy metal chain?
Yes, belt.
Needs a decent exhaust system.
Foot boards, not foot plates!
Can you eat off of them!?😂
Breakfast, dinner & tea. Breakfast, lunch & dinner, Breakfast, dinner & dinner....
Would rather have a 2/1 exhaust, ditch those huge cans and save some weight. Otherwise, it looks ok, if you like cruisers.
Hello, can you tell us what was your fuel consumption in a daily riding.
Hi, sadly I didn't have it long enough or a fair enough riding style to judge properly
Great endorsement for MBP!😂
Sounds like a scooter, and like a Hardley Dumbitson, it's underpowered.😢
MBP.... The nearest AD to Plymouth is Bodmin. Pain in the arse for compulsory Servicing (winter etc) and the AD didn't convince me that parts are readily available. Not for me.
Any MotoGB dealer should be able to service it ok.
Assume it’s actually made in China although not mentioned…?
It very much is...see the video title and description.
One word, MEATY.
That sewing machine sound is awful but nothing an aftermarket exhaust cant fix
The problem for me is I dont care how initially good they are. On more than one level I dont like they are made in China. But first as an owner it is simply parts availability. Wtf are you gonna do 1000 miles from home when your bike breaks down? Second pretty much every single "business" in China is state connected. I do not wish to spend multiple thousands of dollars on a product that directly benefits a govt that is openly antagonistic to mine. The big 4 or out the door.
I don't like cruiser bikes like that. The wind drag limits my speed to 80 km/hr, unless you're built like a gorilla. The seating position kills my lower back.
Imagine the cost of maintenance for a unique bike like that... Crazy.😮
It's a cougar 😂
China's motorbike problems with after sale service and spares
HD and Indian are finished.
🤮 😢 rip bella motore
Carefully avoids the fact that they're made in China.
No thanks. Not at any price.
A China bike trying to be European brand, that made an Indian looking motorcycle.
Looks a very cheap copy of the X diavel Ducati, but the Chinese bike will probably have ceased to exist in a couple of years
Stick a set of Indian badges on it and very few would be able to tell the difference.
Shaped more like a Livewire. But it does have the previous generation Scout gas cap.
The famous indian brand huh. I thought the country at first.
When you order an Indian off wish
I like the engine but the design is from a user of acid and he had a bad trip
I hate everything about it !
Why?
Cruisers not my thing but that really looks the business 😊
Better looking than US offerings 👍
Is that all? 😲
Why are you pushing sub-standard Chinese bikes. I bought a piece of crap from China and could not get parts. It's worse than buying a crappy under powered Royal Enfield.
Not all people want to speed on bikes. Some just want to enjoy rides.Which, with your sunny disposition, seems impossible for you.
