Well, Skeletor did have a part in kidnapping Adora. Let me explain, Skeletor worked with the Horde for a little while, and was actually Hordak’s student for a little bit. However, Hordak decided to kidnap Randor’s children so he could take them into the Horde, but they were only able to get one, Adora. A young Man-At-Arms finds Skeletor and will grant him mercy for his crimes if he reveals the hideout the Horde uses to have their portal to the fright zone. Keldor wasn't brought up again until the 2000's animated show where Keldor is portrayed as the rival who becomes Skeletor, but his relation to King Randor as his brother isn't made clear in the show either. Here's the context for anyone interested. This is from the 1985 He-Man/She-Ra movie "The Secret of the Sword". Basically it tells the origin story of She-Ra, a.k.a. Princess Adora, royal twin sister to Adam (He-Man). The evil Hordak, along with his young pupil Skeletor and his Horde army, invaded Eternia from another dimension attempting to defeat the royal family and take over their world... but when they lost, Hordak kidnapped baby Adora and spirited her away back to his home dimension. There he raised her to lead his Horde army thinking she was serving justice and good, when in reality she was unknowingly propping up an evil dictator. In the movie a now grown up Adam goes on a quest to find the destined owner of the mysterious magic "Sword of Protection", which opens a portal to Hordak's dimension. Through a number of misadventures he finds his sister leading the Horde Army, and through their interactions she realizes her true identity and ultimately defects from the Horde, using the sword to become She-Ra and fight alongside her brother to defeat Hordak. She returns with her brother to Eternia but is followed there by Hordak, who heads to his former base of operations Snake Mountain. There he encounters his former pupil Skeletor, whom he had abandoned in Eternia and who has now assumed command of the base becoming He-Man's arch-nemesis. In this scene Hordak solicits Skeletor's reluctant aid to capture the traitor Adora. Skeletor is saying "wat" not because he's aghast at Hordak's evil, but because he had no idea there was another royal child besides Prince Adam.
This is a beautiful recap, well done! I was really into She-Ra when I was little; you really told the story perfectly without giving too much detail - just enough to make sense. :D
I have to confess I had a bit of a crush on She-Ra when I was very small, also liked Teela too. both characters looked very feminine in appearance and are voiced by nice sounding female voices. Skeletor's laugh and his comments to his cronies when they failed him were always good too. And of course He-Man's strength to overcome any obstacle put in his way. I didn't have much interest in Adam & Adora's characters as prior to their transformation to He-Man & She-Ra I found them boring.
It could be so much "Wait a minute, you abducted a baby?" or indeed "Wait a minute... your traitor is a baby?" So either he thinks Hordak is beyond the pail morally, or else he's wondering if the Horde have taken the concept of child soldiers to a somewhat absurd extreme.@@CyberController-

Oh and the baby is a princess, with an odd name. Yeh. I think I'd say "Wat" to that as well.
Someone really needs to edit this so there's a long pause before he says "WAT?" Someone... Please. Do it. It would make this a million times better. It just shows his blank staring face, and silence, then...... "WAT?!"

Thank you foe the details I was actually very curious. You sir have earned my 👍
Felt like I watched the movie by reading this lol
I have to confess I had a bit of a crush on She-Ra when I was very small, also liked Teela too. both characters looked very feminine in appearance and are voiced by nice sounding female voices. Skeletor's laugh and his comments to his cronies when they failed him were always good too. And of course He-Man's strength to overcome any obstacle put in his way. I didn't have much interest in Adam & Adora's characters as prior to their transformation to He-Man & She-Ra I found them boring.
Remember, the Sorceress cast a spell to make everyone forget about Adora.
Reading the title did not prepare me for the hilarity of that “wat”

I love how convoluted and all over the place Skeletor's moral boundries are.
"The only person allowed to f**k around with my family is me!"

So lemme get this straight. A guy comes up to you, tells you you were in an incident with a baby he randomly stole that you dont remember - who is also a girl and just so happens to be a dirty rotten traitor. Oh and the baby is a princess, with an odd name. Yeh. I think I'd say "Wat" to that as well.

Alternate title: skeletor is confused about a genuinely evil act despite being a villain
Skeletor has a soft spot for Children based on the Christmas episode
Even evil has standards.
Actually it's nothing like that, this is from the 1985 He-Man/She-Ra movie "The Secret of the Sword". Basically it tells the origin story of She-Ra, a.k.a. Princess Adora, royal twin sister to Adam (He-Man). The evil Hordak, along with his young pupil Skeletor and his Horde army, invaded Eternia from another dimension attempting to defeat the royal family and take over their world, but when they lost Hordak kidnapped baby Adora and spirited her away back to his home dimension. There he raised her to lead his Horde army thinking she was serving justice and good, when in reality she was unknowingly propping up an evil dictator. In the movie a grown up Adam/He-Man goes to that dimension and helps his long-lost sister realize her true identity, and she ultimately defects to fight alongside her brother to defeat Hordak. She returns with her brother to Eternia but is followed there by Hordak. He heads to his former base of operations Snake Mountain, and there encounters his former pupil Skeletor, whom he had abandoned in Eternia and has now assumed command of the base becoming He-Man's arch-nemesis. In this scene Hordak solicits Skeletor's reluctant aid to capture the traitor Adora.
Skeletor is saying "wat" not because he's aghast at Hordak's evil, but because he had no idea there was another royal child besides Prince Adam.

The "wat" is so sincere. This an oscar winning line. This is more a "it's your baby moment" than thinking it was too evil of a plan.
