I've never seen the adjustable strip ruler before. That looks pretty cool. I do use the Stripology ruler a lot. It seems a littler bit sturdier than the June Tailor one. It also allows you to use a larger piece of fabric. Great information. Thanks!
I just got my Accuquilt Go! and 2.5" strip die. As a new quilter, I want to be as accurate as possible (because I am SO inaccurate with other cutting tasks!). I can't wait to make my first jelly roll quilt. I'm already a bit obsessed!
Have fun with that! 🎉🎉🎉 Have you decided on a pattern? Here are some of my favorites Top 5 Jelly Roll-Friendly Patterns th-cam.com/video/qThJnt97U7U/w-d-xo.html
I'm using the stripology for scraps and a "normal" ruler for longer strips. I have a simple cheap version of the accuquilt - the strip cutting stuff is very expensive, so I use it just for scraps or tiny applique shapes.
Die cutters are great for appliqué! You’re right, strips can easily be cut with normal rulers. Everyone finds their own ways to get things done. Happy Quilting!!
Thank you. I have the june taylor one and the stripology one too. I also have the accuquilt go me and the 2 1/2 die for the strips I haven't tried it yet. I bought the die for the little camper and disappointed because the trim around the truck and camper are so not wide enough and had a hard time. You pay so much for them.
I've been curious about the accuquilt. I would be interested in your first option but not keen on those slotted rulers. The accuquilt may suit my friend who has trouble with cutting because she is wheelchair bound.
I was reluctant at first but I plan my Accuquilt die purchases for the units I use most often. And Qubes are a great way to get all the basic components! Many ways to get similar results. I’m glad the Stripology ruler works for you 💙🎉💙
I’ve been using the June Taylor Shape Cut Rulers for over 25 years and LOVE THEM ❤️ I have used them to teach strip piecing to lots of my friends.
@@debbiebraatz1919 a very handy tool! What is your favorite pattern that uses strips?

Lots of great options out there. Thanks for watching! 💙🎉💙
My nine patch turned out well, seams matched Thanks to do with your instructions !
Hooray! So glad it was helpful 💙🎉💙
thx, I have the Accuquilt, it came with that die, I use it all the time for binding. Thx again for all the info you share with us.
Using the Accuquilt 2-1/2” strips for binding is a great idea! Thanks for being part of the True Blue Crew 💙🎉💙

Nice tool demo!
Thanks for watching Heide! What size strips do you use most?

I don’t do much appliqué. I’m sorry you were disappointed with the camper die. I love my strip dies!

Accuquilt is the best option if you have physical limitations! Thanks for watching. Happy Quilting!
I have been using Stripology and love it. I thought about accuquilt but you have so many dies to buy and that doesn't interest me.

Hi Roberta, how’s your day going with you?
