I think it happens when the leaving group is just adjacent to negative charge so internal attack canoot happen so to remove the leaving group another group migrates ... SIR PLZ TELL IF I AM CORRECT

If the RDS of the reaction is the hydride transfer step, we can even deduce that the order is 3 in first case and order is 4 in second case, using RDS METHOD OF CHEMICAL KINETICS.

Sir, it is very humble request from my side, can you please try to speak maximum in english. many of us students from south india face problem in understanding hindi but we would also like the oppurtunity to learn from such a wonderful teacher.Since you are also very proficient english and i think your students in kota also dont have problem as jee is also given in english by maximum students. i understand that hindi is national language but i feel maximum students can benefit if you communicate in english. thank you sir.

Hello Shishir sir, Sir I do self study, so i am unable to resolve one constant doubt. Please reply to this. If i have a carbocation adjacent to an -OH group and this alkyl system is substituted in a benzene ring. sir in this case will hydride shift take place and ketone will form or will cyclization of alkyl will happen?
