All that work when all you needed to do was clear codes. Damaged wiring now, too. Nice job. :) Instead of hacking into the wiring just back-probe the connectors. No damage.
I needed to know how to get the button on the rear door to work. the door opens and closes from the key fob, the button under the dash on the drivers side and the button near the license plate. I saw how you got the switch out with the little pry tool. but not how it was tested. great help though.

2017 murano. Fuses are good. Lift gate will not operate under any conditions using any of the switches. Makes constant buzzing sound when driving with concierge buttons on.
So, I transported a sofa for a friend and could not close my hatch all the way. Now, after closing the hatch when I was done, the hatch will not open. I’ve tried using the safety latch from the inside and still no luck. Any idea on how to fix this? The power works in it. I can hear it locking when I lock the doors, and hear it unlock as well. The safety latch moves freely, but doesn’t engage whatever mechanism inside the latch to open it. Please help!
My suspicion is is that somehow the lock just got latched incorrectly. I hardly doubt there’s anything actually wrong with it but it’s probably going to be necessary to Remove the trim plastic from inside the vehicle then get the latch to actually work…. I doubt it’s broken I don’t know how to explain it over text message but something got jammed somehow

I reset mine with the scanner. But it does not sound like yours needs to be reset it sounds like it’s either hung up or you have a broken component inside liftgate sorry Kyle I wish I had better news for you but it does come apart pretty easy

It sounds like it just came on clipped, From the holder probably just need to take off the panels that are underneath there they generally hold on by 7 to 8 mm screws can’t say for sure though
My 2005 Nissan Murano with a stuck lift gate closed. I've had to replace the car battery n alternator. I've changed fuses under hood. Before changing the battery had issues with gate n did the panel on inside gate to open it. For a while now haven't been able to open the gate. Any ideas??? Thanks 🙏
Similar issue on my 2011 LE. I checked the 30amp fuse in the engine compartment, and it was good. Removed and reseated, but did not resolve the issue. I then removed, checked and reseated the 10a fuses (positions #3 and #6) within the passenger compartment (lower left drivers side). Both were good, but after removing/reseating, the liftgate began to work again. Hope this helps someone.
2015 Murano Platinum power lift gate abruptly stopped moving. Unlatches from the front switch, lift-gate switch, and fob, but no motion. Fuses all intact. Light on the rear button is on. Easily raised and lowered by hand. Not sure what check first.

Hey Brian can you just ask for the ones for your vehicle at the part store they will give you exactly what you need they’re generally $30-$40 apiece and you do need to replace both of them. I’m certain from your story that your gas struts are defective There called liftgate struts or shocks either way they’ll be able to find them for you most parts stores will have them in stock and readily available. Good afternoon Morgan even though you may have something going on with your motor it is a possibility that you have bad gas struts on the latch itself you should look into replacing them the gas shocks/struts are about $20 apiece and when they were out your liftgate will not stay open. Resetting the codes will not change that. And I can’t say for certain but I believe you have to have a scanner to reset the codes I work on so many different cars it is a possibility that you could reset the codes by disconnecting the battery and holding the positive and negative together for 5 to 15 minutes with like a zip tie or something and that could reset the codes for you. But I can’t say for certain because your make and model and also people of been really crappy to me lately and I’m worried about getting bad feedback from giving advice that I’m not certain of sorry wish I could be of more help

Well if you have a bad wiring harness you can always cut the wires and connect them directly together. If it’s a plug that goes into a component generally you can make your own plug and just plug the Wires directly on the component I hope that information is helpful

There is a reset through a scanner that could quite possibly take care of that problem. I did some research during the time I was doing this video and it seem like there was quite a few people that describes how to reset it but I honestly can’t remember sorry I wish I could be of more help have a great day and the best of luck
2010 Rogue lift gate stopped working....ladies fessed up to overloaded the trunk then forcing the hatch closed....after countless utube videos and ridiculous dealer estimates I picked up an actuator at a scrap yard $15....installed it ...fixed. Hello Omar. Regretfully I’m not super versed in these vehicles so it’s probably not in my best interest to give you advice but more than likely your Latch is defective since you said that it sounded like it wanted to open
over a year with this thing off and didnt even know there was a switch for it. everything nissan did with this car did it wrong if you are going to copy all the features my E39 had since the 90s might as well do it right.
Mine tried to close on me at the store. Then it opened on its own when I open my driver's door. When I got home, it opened for me, but then closed. When I push the button it opens 2centimeters and closes. Ugh

I removed 4 fuses which maybe were involved. When I put them back, it worked.

Well if you have a bad wiring harness you can always cut the wires and connect them directly together.

I also noticed the rear tailgate lights will not turn on. I did switch out the 30 amp fuse up front but i dont have a fuse checker
My kid close the liftgate and there was an umbrella at the Edge and now it's stuck it doesn't open no more I don't know what to do to open the trunk
