Mamamoo has a bunch of crack songs and I'd put 1, 2, 3 Eoi! in that category. Who else would do a wacky song based on their team chant? And what kind of chant is that? You'd think it would be 1, 2, 3 Fighting! or something to raise the team's spirit but when they do it in real life it sounds like 1, 2, 3 Oy! and they usually deliver it like they're saying 1, 2, 3 whatever and their hands go down rather than up. It's probably the most low key team chant in history. It reminds me of the Bill Walsh era 49ers approach to touchdown celebrations: act like you've been there before. Mamamoo in a recording studio is excellent. MMM live is better, such as on radio shows or the Killing Voice video. MMM live with fans in attendance is even better cuz moomoos bring up the energy and they become the collective 5th member with their fan chants. Best of all is MMM live with moomoos and a live band, which you get in their Korean concerts, appearances on the Immortal Songs tv show, and the It's Live yt channel. You saw a great example in the Immortal Songs Medley from a 2017 concert. Unfortunately reactions to tv music show vids including their spectacular performances on Sketchbook and Immortal Songs usually get blocked. Queendom seems to be one of the main exceptions and there are many reactions to I Miss You and their other Queendom performances. It has a special place in my heart, because the performance was MAMAMOO’s only make-or-break opportunity to survive 6 months after their debut. RBW wasn’t doing much promotion. Even after a few more title songs, MAMAMOO faced the decision to disband if their next release didn’t sell well enough. But their sales DID take off, largely because they had appeared on Immortal Song long enough to grow a fan base. But here’s why I’m so fond of this performance. MAMAMOO had to take an oldie ballad and somehow inject their talent and personality into it. It had to be good enough for them to stand out from the other K-pop artists, the established celebrities, basically everyone else. They were rookies with no cred. And holy ****, they delivered the musical equivalent of a sucker punch.

Thanks for spending more time with Mamamoo! They're such a delight to watch, and I'm with you on thinking they seem like such a fun bunch to hang out with! I saw them live for the first time this past year, and I have to say I never expected to laugh so hard at a concert! The vocals, the stage presence, the professionalism-I knew to expect that, but nothing could have prepared me for how hilarious they are to top it off. If you want to react to something other than MVs, they also have dance practices on their channel where you can see more of the choreography (as well as their chaotic beagle energy). I'd recommend HIP or Dingga dance practices, though they're fun to watch no matter what they're doing honestly.

Its 2 bad that live performances r usually block coz that is what MMM excels best i think. The micon album, which this song is a part of, was especially geared for their concert; so it sounds much more fun live. For Moonbyul's rapping, she raps more melodically thats why it sounds like it fits the song more. N when she doesnt its almost like shes doing a poetry slam; gives narrative to the song. Thats why it just fits.

She wrote the lyrics and composition for her solo song, “Spit it Out”. Composer on "Honey". - Hwasa has 44 credits. Thank you for reaction! Mamamoo gives off a relaxed and fun vibe, which makes us want to hang out with them. The feeling is stronger when we watch their content like MMTV behind, variety shows and commemorative (tispy) lives. I hope you manage to react to some of their live performances on YT. Some people blur the video a little or hide the network logos and it works. Immortal Songs performances like "Passion Flower", "Delilah" and "Backwoods" are incredible. I'd suggest also cuts from their 4SEASON F/W CONCERT (2019), but after you react to more of their songs.

The reason lives get blocked is usually because of the networks, KBS, Mnet, MAMA, MMA. All of these have their logo at the top of the screen, usually, USUALLY, but not always, if you coverup the logos then the video doesn't get blocked. The exception is Japanese releases, pretty much anything Japanese, MV or live, will get blocked. Japan have VERY strict copy right laws, its ok for Pateron but don't even try to put these on TH-cam. Just remember to tell us if something does get blocked because even though it would be nice to see your reaction most of us just want you to see the awesomeness that is Mamamoo (and K-Pop in general.) It's Mamamoo, so I must again walk the cliff's edge of repetition. First, minor points: 'eoi' is not the number four; it is just an exclamation. Coach, it's like hands-in for the team before heading onto the field, so more like 'yeah' or 'go'. Second, Coach seemed puzzled about the finger-under-nose movement. That relates back to Mamamoo's debut video, 'Mr. Ambiguous,' in which the members held up silly fake moustaches for the chorus. They used those props in live performances too, for a while. On one occasion one of the members (Solar?) dropped her prop, or it broke, and she used her finger to make the gesture. The move stuck and became a Mamamoo trademark. With respect to live performances, I'm afraid I don't know much about what videos are relatively safe to use. Many reactors seem to successfully post the Immortal Songs Medley, which (as I've mentioned before!!) features Mamamoo reprising before a live audience songs they performed on a broadcast show called--you guessed it--Immortal Songs. The Immortal Songs Medley is a wonderful tour de force, lacking only in that it is not Mamamoo songs and there really aren't subtitled versions out there. Otherwise, pretty much any live performance of 'Decalcomanie' or 'Destiny' is a sure bet. Note that Mamamoo live is not just about vocal excellence, it is also always about interacting and connecting with the audience. The sound of Hwasa shouting out, in surprisingly powerful voice, 'make some noise' in Korean is iconic. Finally, there was a video tribute called 'Introducing Mamamoo' by a fan known as Purple Hawke a couple of years back, now findable as a re-upload. It is a loving and brilliantly put-together two-part piece (Part 1 is Solar and Moonbyul, Part 2 Wheein and Hwasa) that really lets you know the individual members' back stories. Highly recommended.
