🎉Thank you I really appreciate the earnings report. It gives me an ideal of how the business works.
thanks for the prompt answer
Very interesting, and yes I have started shooting book covers and yes, they do sell, so thanks.
Awesome! Glad to hear others are generating revenue as well here.
Jeff, a great month especially on Alamy. Well done! Pretty good month in April with a total of $1351.53, includes just $2.61 for the contributor fund on P5.
Thanks Steve. Your consistent revenue is fantastic. Im not there yet.
Thank you. You're posts feel more genuine compared to other videos on TH-cam. I try to avoid the get rich quick videos. This one is more realistic.
Thanks. I wish it was get rich quick.... ha ha
Thanks for sharing Jeff, always interesting to watch.
Thanks for watching
Great job Jeff! Your videos will always motivate us to post more content on Stock agencies.
Thanks so much! And thank you for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it.
Another great month Jeff. Pretty soon your new norm will be around the $1,500 mark. As you know from previous correspondence, I have a much smaller portfolio than you, but I am constantly uploading. I got my lifetime ranking at Adobe three months ago - came in at 50,000. The May ranking has improved to 44,800. My aim is keep uploading and get out of the 40,000s and into the 30,000s by Jan 2025. By then you will probably be inside the top 5,000 and rising. Thank for sharing your info. I always find some useful hints in your videos.
Appreciate the comment, Bruce. You should be able to move up those ranks pretty fast if you are uploading regularly. I noticed things have slowed for me this year with a slow down in my regular uploads. Seems to be key!
Hi Jeff, congratulation, to other great month, thank you for sharing your video, I agree when you talk about AI images, it was easy to replicate. I have couple good seller in this category, best one made me almost $30 with just one sale, more than footage on SS :) I love to share a lot but I am also not sure about this images area.
Totally understand Miro.
thank you very much to share your experiences. Do you make videos with your camera or will do phone clips or videos also. I am all new to this.
Lots on my iphone actually, although I do have videos from my mirrorless camera as well as my drone. I just always have my iphone and so its really easy. You have to remove the sound, but otherwise its pretty good.
Great work 👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
@@JWhyte123 most welcome 🙌🌄
Thanks Geff. Your stock earnings seem to be doing well. I never thought of photographing book shots, so that's an idea. On a different note, a quick question - do you nominate your images at AS for a one-off payment? I am being offered $600 but I'm unsure whether I should go for that option. Any thoughts?
I do nominate the images, yes. I typically have a look at them and if there are similar images that are selling well then i won't select them for program. Not sure what your experience will be here, but typically the number selected and the total payment is far less than what is eligible for selection.
Hello Jeff, great video, thank you! 😊
Can you tell me if you use a software to submit your photos or if you do it manually?
I write my metadata directly into the JPEG files of my photos and submit them manually.
It takes me 1.5 to 2 hours to submit 5 photos on 10 agencies, but I would like to shorten this time with a software to be able to submit more photos, because I know it's a numbers game!😅
If you use a software, could you tell me which one and could you do a detailed tutorial, in real time, where we see you submitting a batch of photos to several agencies to see exactly how much time it takes you and also to see if we really have the possibility of choosing the appropriate categories on each agency without having to connect directly to each site ?😅 Thank you!👍
I tag and add descriptions to my photos in Adobe lightroom and then export them with that metadata attached to the file. You can do the same with Adobe Bridge, but I don't like Bridge. If you are a lightroom user, I did upload a video in the past on my work flow that might be interesting. I also uploaded a video on options to get keywords from free internet sites to make things a little quicker.
For ai images, never ever show that side of your portfolio. I've seen contributors crashing cause they shared their portfolio. Smart choice not to share it :-)
At the end of the day, its not hard to explore the database but still I think its better to keep some stats to myself.
Hi, what drone do you have?
DJI Mini 4 pro
Are the majority of those assets commercial or editorial?
Honestly, I would say I have more editorial than commercial. In the past, i was much more commerical focused but now things are mostly editorial.
